Elvis Presley's good looks left Dionne Warwick 'overwhelmed': "I've never seen a man that pretty in my life."
In 1969, Elvis Presley and the Kennedy Center Honors recipient first crossed paths in Las Vegas.
Dionne Warwick was a bit starstruck by Elvis Presley's attractiveness.
In an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, the elderly woman recounted the first time she met Presley in Las Vegas in 1969.
"Wow, that man is stunning," Warwick exclaimed. "I've never seen a man so attractive before."
Elvis was opening the International Hotel, but Warwick cannot recall the specific details of the hotel. However, she remembers how Elvis treated her.
"He was incredibly kind and considerate towards me. He declared, "I'm going to do something amazing for you." I inquired, "What are you going to do?" He replied, "I'm going to place a photo of you and a photo of me in every album and record store in Las Vegas.""

During his show that night, Presley revealed that he had done that, causing his fans to purchase Warwick's albums.
""I sold so many albums in Las Vegas that I never thought I would sell anywhere else," Warwick recalled."
Warwick received a Kennedy Center award for his outstanding contributions to the arts. "I am thrilled that my work has been recognized and honored," he said in an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital. "It's an indescribable feeling to be recognized for all the hard work and dedication I've put into my craft."
The Kennedy Center Honors has recognized individuals in the performing arts for their significant contributions to American culture since 1978. The award is presented annually to five honorees at a December gala in Washington, D.C.

The mother-son duo currently have a song together, "I Kneel."
"How much more can you have than working with someone you love?" the legendary musician asked, stating that it was a "pleasure" to sing a song written by her son.
He said it was "overwhelmingly exciting" to work with his mom, like Damon felt.
The Elliot brothers, Damon and David, prioritize faith in the Warwick household.
"Dionne stated that her faith is her entire existence, the foundation of her life and source of her growth. She believes that the Heavenly Father is beyond all limitations."

Like his mother, Damon also has a strong connection to his faith. "Our family prioritizes God in all that we do. We pray about it and trust that God will take care of the rest," he stated.
"People often come to us and express their prayers for us, but we don't reciprocate because it's not our place. However, when we pray for others, we do so sincerely, and that's just how it is. We always prioritize praying for God first and each other," Damon stated.
In England, "The Masked Singer" recently featured Warwick as a contestant. Unfortunately, she did not last long on the show, which was not surprising to her.
By now, someone should recognize my voice, she stated.
Dionne portrayed "Weather" on the show but was eliminated following the first installment.
In December, Warwick turned 83 and has no intention of slowing down her career.
Dionne Warwick's son reveals that his mother is not slowing down and he is struggling to keep up with her.
"Yes, I have ample time to slow down," she informed Planet Chronicle Digital. Damon asserted that "there is no such thing" as persuading his mother to relax and slow down a bit.
When it feels like work, we'll stop when we're ready and keep having fun and exploring the world until then. That's what we do, and Damon added that we try to keep up with her.
Warwick's secret to staying youthful and active in her 80s is spelled in capital letters. G-O-D. Additionally, she attributes her youthfulness to self-love.

"I take care of myself the best I can and avoid anything that might harm me. If that's a secret, then that's it."
