During the Los Angeles fires, some individuals took pleasure in the devastation of Hollywood, and Christina Applegate criticized their actions.
Several celebrities, including Miles Teller, Paris Hilton, and Heidi and Spencer Pratt, have had their homes destroyed by the LA fires.
Christina Applegate, an actress and Los Angeles resident, is enraged that some individuals appear to be enjoying the destruction caused by the California fires on celebrities living in the region.
In a recent episode of her "MeSsy" podcast with Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Applegate criticized anyone who believed it was positive that Hollywood was going through hard times.
Sigler stated that there are no words to describe the devastation in the city.
"You know what I have words for? Those Hollywood people who claim it's good. They're f---ing idiots," Applegate retorted. "I can't believe it."
"She continued, "I believe that people who do not reside here simply view us as celebrities, running everything. We are a small portion of the city, and this metropolis is comprised of a diverse range of individuals, including those who work tirelessly at fast-food chains, builders, and painters.""
The "Dead to Me" actress stated that saying "good riddance" is sick and she dislikes it.
Applegate responded to Sigler's request to "tune out" that kind of rhetoric by stating that she had done so but found it "ridiculous."
Sigler stated that everyone in LA shares a common trait, which is dreaming.
"They all work tirelessly towards their big dreams, and they give their all. Is there a group of people who have been affected and will be able to rebuild their lives soon? Yes, although it may not be easy. And are there thousands of people who are unsure of where to start? Yes. We must hold both groups in our hearts."
This week, several Hollywood celebrities, including Miles Teller, Billy Crystal, Paris Hilton, Milo Ventimiglia, Ricki Lake, Anna Faris, Spencer, and Heidi Pratt, have lost their homes in the Palisades Fire, which is only 17% contained as of Tuesday morning.
In addition to the Hurst Fire and Eaton Fire, which are 97% and 35% contained respectively, a new fire, the Auto Fire, has emerged in Ventura County. It is currently 0% contained.
