Jackson, 58, revealed to British Vogue that while performing for the Queen of England, he accidentally split his pants while squatting, revealing his booty crack.
"I was in disbelief when it happened, thinking 'Oh, my God.' Then I felt air on my back, confirming that it had truly occurred."
To avoid the queen seeing her wardrobe malfunction, the "All For You" singer adjusted her choreography to only face forward after realizing her outfit mishap.
The European leg of her Together Again tour is currently being prepared for by the singer-dancer.
After experiencing a major outfit mishap during the 2004 Super Bowl, Jackson made comments.
During the halftime show, singer Justin Timberlake accidentally exposed Jackson's bare right breast, which was adorned with a nipple ring. As a result, the legendary songstress was blacklisted by CBS and MTV and barred from the Grammy telecast.
At the conclusion of Jackson's performance, a malfunction occurred when Timberlake joined her onstage. Specifically, it was during Timberlake's final line, "I'm gonna have you naked by the end of this song," that he accidentally exposed one of Jackson's breasts on live television.
Despite being criticized by the media after the scandal, Timberlake appeared to have escaped the controversy unharmed. Some believed that either Jackson or one of her team members had orchestrated the stunt.
The incident was referred to as "Nipplegate."
In the 2022 A&E documentary "Janet," Jackson stated that she and Timberlake have "moved on" and are now "friends."
"This whole thing was blown out of proportion, and it was an accident that should not have happened. Everyone is looking for someone to blame, but that needs to stop," she said.
"Justin and I are very good friends, and we will always be very good friends. We spoke just a few days ago. Although we have moved on, it's time for everyone else to do the same."
