According to his representatives, Jamie Foxx sustained injuries during an incident while celebrating his 57th birthday at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills.
On Friday night, while dining at a popular celebrity hotspot, an incident involving actor and singer Foxx occurred.
At his birthday dinner, Jamie Foxx was hit in the mouth with a glass thrown from another table. He required stitches and is currently recovering. The police have been called, and the matter is now being handled by law enforcement.
On Friday, the Beverly Hills Police Department responded to a reported assault with a deadly weapon at Mr. Chow, as stated in a news release obtained by Planet Chronicle Digital.
Upon their arrival at 10:06 p.m., the BHPD officers investigated the incident and found that the report of assault with a deadly weapon was "unfounded."
The "incident involved a physical altercation between parties." After a preliminary investigation, the authorities documented the battery in a report and no arrests were made. The BHPD's investigation into the incident is still ongoing.

On Wednesday, Jamie Foxx hosted the Strong Black Legends Dinner at Mr. Chow and was captured on camera as he exited the restaurant. In a video posted on X, he was seen conversing with the paparazzi and signing autographs.
During his walk to an SUV, Foxx was questioned about his feelings regarding celebrating his birthday following his near-death experience due to a medical emergency last year.
The Academy Award winner said, "It's beautiful because I didn't know if I would be here to celebrate it."

In April 2023, Foxx was hospitalized in a coma for weeks due to a mysterious illness. During his Netflix special, he tearfully shared with fans the cause of his coma.
"April 11, I had a bad headache and asked my boy for aspirin. Before I could get it, I went outside. I don't remember the next 20 days."
At the time of his hospitalization, doctors informed Foxx's family that he had suffered a "brain bleed resulting in a stroke."
The doctor at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia stated, "We'll lose him if I don't go in his head right now."
Deidra Dixon, Foxx's sister, was informed by his doctor after his surgery that they couldn't locate the source of the issue, but he was experiencing a stroke. Although he may fully recover, it would be the most challenging year of his life.
