Drew Barrymore seems to have irritated Martha Stewart during a sensitive interview.
On 'The Drew Barrymore Show', an 83-year-old woman was advertising her 100th cookbook.
Martha Stewart has firm boundaries.
On "The Drew Barrymore Show" on Tuesday, the lifestyle guru felt uncomfortable with the host's usual interview style.
Barrymore inquired about what makes Stewart appear "soft and gooey" while she smiled and put her own finger in her mouth. Additionally, she drew nearer to her guest on the couch.
Stewart repeated the question, seemingly perplexed, and then responded, "Treatment."
""When you're treated like a lady?" Barrymore asked, and Stewart agreed."
"Yes, that’s nice," the 83-year-old said.
As Stewart pushed Barrymore backwards on the couch, she playfully said, "You’re the wrong gender."
"Barrymore jokingly groaned as she laid back, saying, "The way it’s going with men though, Martha, I’m not so sure anymore.""

After Barrymore shared a live shot of Stewart's niece and nephew in Nutley, New Jersey, where they and the mayor unveiled a new street sign named in her honor, Barrymore and Stewart hugged at a different point later in the interview.
For years, the pair have given the impression of being friendly and have been seen together at various events, including the book launch party for Dr. Aliza Pressman's new book "5 Principles Of Parenting" earlier this year.
Barrymore stated before the new season of the show began that she would make an effort to provide guests with more space.
Barrymore admitted to Entertainment Tonight in August that practicing physical distance, despite not being his strong suit, is something he will attempt.
I was alone in a studio during the pandemic, which was difficult for me. I prefer being around people.
Barrymore acknowledged that not everyone may enjoy it, but he apologized to those who didn't.
Several times, the host of the talk show has become viral by getting physically close to her guests during interviews.
Oprah Winfrey was interviewed by Drew Barrymore in December 2023, showcasing Barrymore's hands-on approach.
Winfrey tried to shift a little on the couch while she was held close and caressed on the arm by someone who took her hands.
At the time, Winfrey told TMZ that she enjoyed Barrymore's hands-on approach during the interview and found it comforting. She also praised Barrymore for staying true to herself and thought the actress was endearing. Winfrey joked that she now demands that her longtime partner, Stedman Graham, offer similar stroking sessions.
