For 40 years, Denise Austin has been a leader in the fitness industry, so she is knowledgeable about creating successful New Year's resolutions.

According to Austin, the secret to successfully keeping resolutions is to begin with small, achievable goals.

Make it convenient for you. Joining a gym may be difficult, and it might take you a drive to get there. However, these obstacles can be overcome. That's why I love walking and doing home workouts. They are convenient for everyone.

"Otherwise you won't do it," Austin said.

The elderly woman advised individuals to establish small routines that they can easily adhere to, and she highlighted the significance of beginning each day with a positive mindset.

Starting your day with a 20-minute walk can set the tone for a great morning routine, which I believe is crucial in setting the day. It's a simple yet effective way to feel better and make your day easier. So, consider making it a part of your morning routine.

Denise Austin has revealed the reason behind the failure of New Year's resolutions and provided a straightforward tip for achieving success.

Austin advised Planet Chronicle Digital that he consistently begins his day with a brisk walk, regardless of the weather. He emphasized that even on cloudy days, the sun's rays provide essential vitamin D. All it takes is 20 minutes of outdoor time to reap the benefits. Austin assured that the individual would feel much better as a result, with their energy levels increasing and a boost in self-esteem. This simple act of getting outside and taking a walk can provide an extra boost of motivation for the week.

Denise has perfected her morning routine, which includes an "old-fashioned" tradition.

"I start my day with a cup of coffee, followed by reading the newspaper. Despite being old-fashioned, I then follow a 30-minute routine," she stated.

To ensure she completes her daily workout in 30 minutes, Austin observed that she only exercises for that duration.

"By giving it my all for 30 minutes, I now have a mental mindset to eat healthier for the day," she said.

To achieve a healthy lifestyle, it's essential to integrate small daily actions that will ultimately lead to success, as Austin explained.

"My top priority is to start small and gradually increase my healthy habits. I recommend beginning with 10-20 minutes of exercise and drinking plenty of water. Then, transition to eating whole foods and gradually eliminate processed foods. By making these changes, you can kick-start your New Year's resolutions and take control of your health," she advised.

Instead of using canola oil, Austin recommended using olive or avocado oil.

Small actions can make a big difference, and I strongly believe in the benefits of morning sun exposure. Even a brief 10-minute session can significantly improve your mood and reduce depression, as Austin explained.

To successfully adhere to your New Year's resolutions, Denise Austin recommends forming "little habits."

"I want to start meditating daily," she stated. "My daughter, Kelly Austin, has been teaching me ways to meditate, and I need to make it a habit. So, I've been trying to relax, and I enjoy yoga. For me, yoga is like a sense of meditation because I'm peaceful with it. I stretch and also love walking meditation."

In 1983, Denise married Jeff Austin and they have two daughters, Kelly and Katie.
