Since marrying Kelsi Taylor last September, Dane Cook has been ecstatic about the happiness he's found in married life.

The 52-year-old comedian, who is hosting the upcoming live show "The Collab" with David Meltzer, discussed his marriage to the 25-year-old Pilates instructor, which is their first for both.

The "Good Luck Chuck" star confessed that he felt foolishly in love.

He continued, "I always felt like I had missed the mark on certain key moments in my life where I was so focused on my own agenda that I wasn't allowing myself to share that space with someone."

"Cook stated that it took him a bit longer to understand the significance of his journey, which he believes occurred later in life. He explained that he had his "ah-ha" moment when he realized the importance of sharing his path with someone who was equally enthusiastic and capable of overcoming challenges, like Kelsi."

He knew within moments of their first conversation that he wanted to share every victory lap with them because they had shared their deepest, most intimate trials of life.

Taylor and Cook, who had been dating for over five years, got married in an intimate ceremony in O'ahu, Hawaii, surrounded by 20 guests last September, according to People magazine.

According to the comic, those attending his comedy shows should not anticipate any jokes about his marriage to Taylor, as he is still basking in the happiness of their union.

Most comics onstage will jest about the burdens of marriage, such as their spouse and the ring they wear, and it's amusing how they make light of these annoyances.

"If you come see my new show, you'll discover that I'm on tour from September through the end of the year. When you see me, I'll likely mention my wedding ring and say, "Look at me, I have one of these! And I love it." I'll be thrilled to share all that we've accomplished together over the past five years, as well as since our wedding a year ago."

Taylor has a 27-year age gap with Cook, who has previously made jokes about it in his comedy sets and specials.

Cook stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that their age difference was never a factor in their relationship, despite him poking fun at it.

"When you fall in love with someone, you must also fall in love with their family. Once our families met, we all got to know each other. It was clear. And anyone who spent time with us knows that there was an age difference."

Kelsi and I share a true simpatico, as we both desire the same things in our faith, family, and belief that we're all on an individual journey, he stated.

"Our shared desire to support each other's individual journeys and the things we want together are what make our relationship special. It's the essence of what we hope to achieve with someone who we want to go the distance with."

Cook joked about continuing to "prattle on" about his love for his wife.

"I'm still in the pink cloud phase," he admitted. "We're having a great time."

On June 19, Cook and Meltzer are hosting a live audience-driven Q&A event called "The Collab" at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles.

The Collab will consist of in-depth discussions between the two, with special guests such as thought leaders, billionaires, millionaires, entrepreneurs, celebrities, athletes, and entertainers, as stated in a press release.

Leigh Steinberg Sports & Entertainment agency, the firm that inspired the 1996 movie "Jerry Maguire," was once led by Meltzer, who is now an author, entrepreneur, motivational speaker, and former CEO.

During an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, Meltzer revealed his inspiration for collaborating with Cook on "The Collab."

"Meltzer believes that there is a significant energy difference between individuals who are confident in their identity and those who try to present a false image to others. He observes this particularly in his own children and takes care to ensure that he surrounds himself with people who have not made the same mistakes as he has in the past."

He continued, "I want them to allow me to pay the dummy tax between 'I am' and 'This is what I want people to think I am.' And that's been amplified by social media especially. And when I met Dane, I thought, 'Wow, you know, the three areas to empower other people to build a community of people that really want to help each other and know people to help each other is this guy knows who he is, and he's a great mentor to others.'"

"He not only shares his past experiences, including both failures and successes, but also provides guidance on how to achieve your goals. Additionally, he is able to teach with great humor."

According to Meltzer, the "most intelligent human beings" he's ever met were comedians like Robin Williams and Jamie Foxx, who inspired him with their "mentorship and teaching."

"Dane possesses a unique ability to bring out the best in others, which inspires me because I seek light and love in lessons from people. He is a complete collaborator with me, working together to coordinate and cooperate with an audience."

Meltzer was praised by Cook as the "secret sauce" in a statement shared with Planet Chronicle Digital.

"David is the real deal, and that's what you're going to get. There's no showmanship or secret sauce; what you see is what you get."

And so, by sharing our trials, tribulations, ups, downs, lefts, rights, insight, and good data, we can inspire others with the oldest and simplest quote.

"I am excited to discuss your rock bottom moments and how you can emerge stronger and improved," he said. "That stuff happens naturally and organically."

Cook discussed his views on cancel culture during his interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, stating that he believes it is gradually losing its power over comedy.

Several well-known stand-up comedians, including Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, and Billy Crystal, have publicly criticized the increasing influence of social media on comedy and the efforts of censors to restrict comedians' speech.

However, Cook believes that cancel culture's influence is beginning to wane.

""The comedy community is thriving, with the cancel culture movement in comedy becoming less intense," he stated."

Cook stated, "Comedy has continually evolved, and I have witnessed significant changes. I have observed a shift from ignorance to more openness, with individuals sharing their stories about their upbringing, beliefs, and appearances. It is now up to you to share your story."

"He remarked that it was not appropriate for someone to express opinions and observations about something second-hand. He added, "It's nice to see that type of comedy fade away.""

Cook stated that he has observed the development and unity in the comedy industry, both during his tours and at local comedy venues.

"Cook stated that he is present every night and observes the same thing year after year. He explained that he has seen it all from the beginning, and what he witnessed in the comedy community externally was even more camaraderie and entrepreneurship because everyone knew they had to help amplify someone's truth."

"He suggested getting someone back on stage to address their past mistakes in comedy."

"Art is the manifestation of our fears and doubts. When we watch a comedian perform, we want them to share a story that we can relate to, and perhaps laugh at it because it reminds us of something we have experienced or witnessed ourselves."

If comedians come from a place of truth, they won't end up in the penalty box, according to Cook.

""Even if your truth is not universally accepted, it will be heard out," he said."

""The truth is both sparkly and fascinating," the Massachusetts native stated."
