Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC has made Nashville his home after being 'Punk'd' by the city's beauty.
MTV's Brian McFayden and the former pop star revealed to Planet Chronicle Digital that the country host would be an ideal guest on their "Name Drop" podcast.
Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC originally comes from pop music, but he now resides in country music.
In a recent interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, the singer who relocated to Nashville eight years ago with his spouse discusses what attracted him to Music City.
"We've been here eight years now, and it's a beautiful town," he admitted.
"He continued, "I'm discussing the experience of Nashville, which encompasses the entire package.""
His 6-year-old son was born in Nashville in 2017.
"Kirkpatrick chuckled, "His name is Nash, of all things. And, you know, he really loves the town. Sometimes, he gets upset with my wife and me because we lived in Orlando, right by Disney World. And here I'm like, ‘Yeah, but if we would have stayed, maybe your name would have been Oral.’""
Even though Nashville is "horrible," it is still an amazing town because of its people. However, it's not, you know, it has all this other great stuff to it. And the people here are just unbelievable.
Kirkpatrick joked that he felt like he was reliving his "MTV days" when we visited and spent time with friends, wondering why everyone was so friendly.
He stated that he believes he and his spouse are "kind" individuals, but he hasn't consistently encountered this trait in others during his time in various locations.
Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC is unsure why he waited so long to relocate to "beautiful" Nashville.
The 52-year-old stated, "Now we must elevate our behavior and match the politeness and friendliness of Nashville. However, this city is fantastic, with constant activities happening. That's what makes it significant to us."
On Broadway in Nashville, Kirkpatrick expressed his opinions about the bars.
"If you've ever been to Nashville, you'll notice that the bars are all changing their names to artists, making it very identifiable. Garth Brooks' bar, Friends in Low Places, is particularly amazing, as the 47-year-old told Planet Chronicle Digital while discussing his plans for a bar in Nashville with Bon Jovi."
Brian McFayden, the former MTV star and host of the podcast "Name Drop" with Kirkpatrick, expressed equal enthusiasm about the country star, stating that he is their top pick for a dream guest to have on the show.
Garth Brooks is the person I want on the podcast, as he has been around for a long time and is a great storyteller.
Kirkpatrick concurred, stating, "Indeed. Many older artists often possess impressive name drops."
He stated that people today would often mention meeting Taylor Swift or The Weeknd, but when they reflect on those encounters in the future, they would likely recall their history with Keith Richards and the stories they shared about their past adventures. These are the experiences that leave a lasting impression and are worth reminiscing about.
Chris Kirkpatrick of *NSYNC and Brian McFayden of MTV sing praises of Garth Brooks.
Kirkpatrick and McFayden started their podcast last summer, with Kirkpatrick stating that the motivation for the program originated from their extensive experience in the industry and feeling like they were name-dropping when socializing with individuals outside of Hollywood.
He shared that he and McFayden were hanging out with friends a few years ago, recounting tales from their MTV days. Those around them looked at them suspiciously, thinking they were only mentioning names of famous people they knew. Since they were in the entertainment industry, they knew many people, and they didn't know if they were making it worse by dropping names. It was awkward, but it became uncomfortable when they were asked about specific individuals, like Tom Cruise.

Phil Collins was one of the "name drop" moments that the "Bye, Bye, Bye" singer cherished.
He shared that he had worked with Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney, which was great, but he felt that singing with Phil Collins in the vocal booth was a unique experience. He realized that "No Jacket Required" was the first cassette tape he ever owned while in the booth.
"I'm currently singing with Michael, Garth, and other notable figures such as Stevie Wonder and Paul McCartney. Being around these individuals is truly awe-inspiring, and when they acknowledge me, it's a surreal experience. This encounter was not just a casual meeting; it was a meaningful interaction where we shared stories and recognized our commonalities."
Kirkpatrick discussed the viral *NSYNC reunion during Justin Timberlake's show in Los Angeles in March, stating that he was not accustomed to how audiences now watch concerts through their cellphones.
""I didn't see a single face in the entire auditorium," he said."
He stated that all he observed were individuals with their phones positioned in front of their faces.
"I was like, "Man, I saw my wife and kid because she said she wasn't going to film this. But, you know, everyone else was live-streaming because the rumor was out. So, it was a strange experience for me to go out and not see a face and just cameras. I felt like I was just doing a TV show.""
