Cheryl Hines promotes self-care product company by sharing video of RFK Jr. naked in shower: 'Oh Bobby'
In the clip, the 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' star strategically blocked most of her husband's nude body.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the husband of Cheryl Hines, was partially naked in the background of a video that Hines shared to promote her eco-friendly, self-care company, Hines+Young.
Catherine Young and her mother, a 59-year-old actress, posted a video on Instagram to promote a Black Friday sale for their jointly founded company, Hines+Young.
Behind the 70-year-old politician, Hines blocked most of her face with a bottle of linen spray and a tin of body cream as she showered.
Kennedy was told by her that she couldn't take a shower, as she laughed in the clip shared by journalist Yashar Ali on X, formerly Twitter, on Friday.
Hines continued, wagging her finger at the camera, "I'm doing a video!"
She said, "Give me a moment, I'm filming for Hines+Young. This is honey, 60% off," while laughing at the end of the video.
In the video, Hines included "H+Y Content Interruption," "Oh Bobby," and red heart and smiley face emojis.
Hines promoted the "60% off everything!" sale on the Hines+Young website.
The actress posted a photo of Hines+Young products, including a candle with a "MAHA" lid, in support of Kennedy's "Make America Healthy Again" movement.
She tagged her company's Instagram page and included the "MAHA" hashtag in the photo.
Kennedy declared his intention to run for the 2024 Democratic presidential nomination in April 2023. Later in October 2023, he announced that he was abandoning his bid and would instead run as an independent candidate.
Hines, who married Kennedy in 2014, occasionally joined him on the campaign trail during his run for the presidency. In a March interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, the two-time Emmy nominee explained how she and Kennedy approach instances when they don't see eye to eye on political issues.
Hines stated that he has learned, particularly in politics, that it is acceptable not to agree with someone on everything.
We've mastered the art of communicating effectively. Express ourselves openly. Listen actively. Occasionally, we may agree to disagree or politely request clarification. We may also express our dissatisfaction with the tone of the conversation and request that it be phrased differently.
"Communication and keeping an open mind and heart are key."
In August, Trump was endorsed by Kennedy, who had previously suspended his own presidential campaign.
At the time, Hines expressed support for her husband and his campaign staff on X.
Robert Kennedy Jr.'s presidency has been suspended, and I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all those who have worked diligently and affectionately on his campaign.
Despite facing numerous obstacles, including lawsuits and roadblocks, they managed to gather over a million signatures and secure ballot access nationwide, making Bobby a viable candidate for the public to vote for.
"I deeply respect Bobby's decision to run on the principle of unity. Over the past year and a half, I have met some remarkable individuals from all political affiliations, including Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. In my experience, the majority of people from all parties are genuinely good people who are committed to the well-being of our country and one another. This journey has been eye-opening, transformative, and endearing."
Kennedy stated that his wife supported his decision, even though she did not share the same viewpoint several days after Hines made her statement.
"He said that this was the opposite of what she would want to do. She agreed to it because she loves him and wanted to support him, but it was never something she encouraged, he added."
Trump's most prominent surrogate was an environmental lawyer who used the "MAHA" message in his closing argument to voters.
Earlier this month, after Trump won his race against Vice President Kamala Harris, he appointed Kennedy to head the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Trump announced Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as the new Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) in a Nov. 14 post on X. For too long, Americans have been oppressed by the food and drug industries, which have spread false information and misled the public about public health.
Ensuring the safety and health of all Americans is the primary responsibility of any administration, and HHS will play a significant role in safeguarding individuals from hazardous substances such as chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceutical products, and food additives that have contributed to the current health crisis in the country.
"To restore the traditions of scientific research, transparency, and end the chronic disease epidemic, Mr. Kennedy will make America great and healthy again."
At a gala held at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida, Trump's former campaign manager Hines joined Kennedy at an America First Policy Institute event.
Kennedy's nomination to Trump's cabinet awaits confirmation by the U.S. Senate.
