Cardi B experiences a medical emergency and has to cancel her music festival appearance.
Last month, the 'WAP' singer welcomed her third child without disclosing specifics about her health.
On Wednesday, Cardi B informed her fans that she won't be able to perform in Atlanta this weekend because of a "medical emergency."
The "WAP" rapper announced on social media that she has been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency and won't be able to perform at ONE MusicFest.
The festival in Georgia, featuring bands such as Earth, Wind & Fire and Nelly, had the 32-year-old as its headliner.
"I'm heartbroken that I can't see my fans this weekend, but I'm grateful for your understanding. I'll be back stronger soon. Don't worry, I love you all. Cardi."
The singer's spot at the Music Fest was being sought by organizers, as announced on their social media.
"It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there. Bardi Gang – thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love yall." — Cardi B
"Unfortunately, @iamcardib has announced that she will not be able to join us this year due to ongoing health issues. We are keeping her in our prayers for a full recovery. We are currently working hard to find a replacement at this late date. More information will be provided soon."
Her social media was inundated with well-wishes following her announcement.
"I hope you get well soon," one person wrote, while another said, "Your health is more important," and a third added, "Feel better, queen," along with a crying emoji.
Cardi B didn't provide further information about her condition, but her hospital stay occurred a month after she welcomed her third child, a daughter, with Offset.
They also share daughter Kulture, 6, and son Wave, 3.
On Monday, Cardi B posted a video on Instagram from her hospital bed, criticizing individuals who falsely reported her children were in danger to child protective services, as reported by the New York Post.
"The singer stated, "I must emphasize this point, and I'm struggling to breathe. It's unacceptable when people go too far with messing with my children.""
Are you dumb? The Child Protective Services will visit my gated mansion at 11 p.m. because of an anonymous call that my kids have been abused and beaten. Not my house.
The Post reported that she had been in the hospital since Saturday and informed the audience of this fact.
