Valeri and Full House actress recently marked their 28th wedding anniversary.
Valeri's love for Candace Cameron Bure continues to grow stronger and stronger.
In an exclusive interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, the actress and producer, who recently marked their 28th wedding anniversary, revealed the reasons behind her increased commitment to her partner.
"Over time, the love has deepened. As you navigate the ups and downs of life, and emerge victorious each time, your commitment to each other grows stronger. In marriage, every triumph is a testament to your unwavering dedication to one another."
"Bure stated that they have been together for 30 years, which is a significant milestone. Despite the passage of time, Bure's love for their partner has only grown stronger, and they are more committed to their relationship today than ever before. They consider their partner to be their lifelong companion."
On Saturday, the "Full House" alum gave a special shoutout to her husband on Instagram.
"28 years ago, we started our journey together and now, here we are with our children. Looking back at our journey through photos," the caption read alongside a series of photos of the couple and their children throughout the years.
The former hockey player, married by Bure in 1996, said the secret to a successful marriage lies in their shared dedication to God.
"Marriage is a wonderful experience, but it comes with its fair share of ups and downs over the years," she said. "The secret to a successful marriage is not just the commitment to God and the biblical blueprint for marriage, but also honoring one another. Even when we may not deserve it, we honor each other because it's an act of honoring God. Our focus should be on honoring God in all our actions first and foremost, which is an outpouring of the love we share together, whether we feel like it or not at the moment."
The three children, Natasha, Lev, and Maksim, are shared by the duo.
Bure, a mom to three adult children, announced that her podcast's upcoming season will focus on parenthood navigation.
"Being a parent requires intentionality. You must decide on the type of parent you want to be, the training you want to provide your children, and the guardrails you want to set in their lives," she emphasized.
"Raising children can be challenging as a parent. It can be difficult to stick to your goals and desires, as there may be an easier way or you may feel guilty for being strict. However, it's important to remember that this is an opportunity to shape your children into responsible adults. By allowing them to make their own choices, you are giving them the tools they need to succeed in life."
Bure stated that she and Val are content with their decision to be stricter with their children during their teenage years.
"Reflecting on the past, I appreciate our strict approach," she confessed. "I'm grateful that we loved our children deeply, as our adult children are now friends with us. They enjoy spending time with us, which speaks volumes. And it's an amazing feeling to be in this place right now."
The challenges of parenthood can be daunting, but being committed, intentional, and aware of your values and the guidance you want to provide is crucial.
In a January interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, Bure discussed her and Valeri's experience as "empty-nesters."
The "Fuller House" alum revealed that the couple has maintained a close relationship with their adult children due to the strong family bonds they established during their childhood.
""We built strong relationships with them during their youth and teenage years, and now that they're adults, it's time to be friends with them. It's amazing, but it all comes down to the foundation and groundwork we laid for this fruitful relationship as adults," Bure said."
Her latest movie, "Unsung Hero," was recently released, and she co-produced it through her production company, Candy Rock Entertainment.
