Burglars target Prince William and Kate Middleton's Windsor Castle estate.
Last month, the royal family's property was burgled.
A building on the royal family's Windsor Castle estate was broken into by burglars, as confirmed by Planet Chronicle Digital.
In October, the Windsor estate, which is home to several members of the royal family and where Adelaide Cottage resides, was the target of an attack.
On Sunday 13 October at approximately 11.45pm, a burglary report was received by Thames Valley Police near the A308 in Windsor, on Crown Estate land.
A black Izuzu pickup and a red quad bike were stolen from a farm building by offenders who then fled towards the Old Windsor/Datchet area, according to police.
An investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this stage.
According to the Sun, William and Middleton, along with their children George, Charlotte, and Louis, were all asleep during the break-in.
The burglarized building is reportedly five minutes away from their home.
The burglars likely observed Windsor Castle for an extended period to determine the location and optimal time for the break-in, according to the outlet. Although alarms were set up on the estate, employees were reportedly unaware of the issue until they breached the security barrier at a gated exit.
The source claimed that the barrier needed to be replaced because it was severely damaged.
Prior to the October break-in, The Sun reported that armed guards had been removed from the two main gates of the estate due to a shortage of qualified officers.
Planet Chronicle Digital has reached out to Kensington Palace for comment.
The family relocated from Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Castle estate in 2022, according to several sources, as William and Middleton sought to provide their children with a different upbringing than they experienced in London.
"The family, known for their love of the outdoors, had grown tired of city life in London and were excited to move to the countryside, where they could finally be happy, according to a source who spoke to People magazine."
The cottage, constructed in 1831 for Queen Adelaide, is described as a modest four-bedroom property.
It is a 10-minute walk from there to the castle itself.
In 2023, Jaswant Singh Chail, who scaled the walls of Windsor Castle estate with a loaded crossbow on Christmas Day in 2021 with the intention of killing Queen Elizabeth II, was sentenced to nine years in prison after pleading guilty.
