Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will avoid crossing paths at the Venice Film Festival amidst their winery dispute.
Angelina Jolie, known for her role in 'Maria,' has been at odds with Brad Pitt, her ex-husband and co-star in 'Wolfs,' over their shared winery, Chateau Miraval.
Despite attending the 2024 Venice Film Festival, there is no chance that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will meet.
The Venice Film Festival has ensured that Jolie and Pitt do not have to interact during the screening of their films "Maria" and "Wolfs," respectively, despite their ongoing feud over ownership of their winery and ongoing divorce negotiations.
"On Thursday, the 29th, Angelina Jolie will be present on the first day of the Venice Film Festival, while Brad Pitt will arrive on Saturday. There will be no chance for them to meet at the Lido as they will leave immediately after the screening with director Pablo Larraín."
On Thursday in Venice, Jolie was seen with her "Maria" co-star Pierfrancesco Favino. She wore a simple black dress for the event, while also being photographed in a brown gown with flowing sleeves. Jolie styled her hair down for the occasion.

Pitt and Jolie's ongoing divorce and legal battle over Château Miraval are keeping them apart.
Since 2022, the French winery owned by the former couple has been making headlines due to a lawsuit filed by Pitt against Jolie, alleging that her sale of the winery violated their contract.
In 2008, the couple bought a controlling stake in Château Miraval and spent time at the home throughout their relationship. They even got married at the French vineyard in 2014, 10 years ago.
In 2021, Jolie tried to sell her company, Nouvel, to Tenute Del Mondo, a subsidiary of the Stoli Group, which would have given her 50% ownership interest in Miraval. However, Pitt challenged this sale, arguing that it violated their contract.
Pitt has been accused of orchestrating a "vindictive campaign" to "loot" Jolie's profitable business since she filed for divorce in 2016.
According to court documents previously obtained by Planet Chronicle Digital, Nouvel accused Pitt of "hijacking" Château Miraval and "wasting" the company's assets on unnecessary renovation projects, including spending $1 million on swimming pool renovations.
Jolie recently demanded Pitt to disclose third-party communications regarding the 2016 plane incident, which allegedly led to a physical altercation between them and resulted in Jolie filing for divorce shortly after.
"Angelina Jolie's lawyer, Paul Murphy, stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that Mr. Pitt has control over all the properties the couple shared as well as the business, but still demands more, and is suing Angelina for $67 million plus punitive damages. In doing so, Pitt placed squarely at issue why he tried to punish and control Angelina by demanding a newly expanded NDA to cover his personal misconduct and abuse. Those actions are central to these proceedings."
"The lawyer stated that they were not surprised that Mr. Pitt was afraid to reveal documents proving certain facts, as Angelina had previously asked him to end the fighting and move towards healing. However, if Mr. Pitt did not withdraw his lawsuit, Angelina had no choice but to obtain evidence to prove his allegations false."
A source close to Pitt's response to Jolie's request stated that the winery lawsuit is a simple business conflict.
Unfortunately, the other side has consistently introduced personal elements into the business dispute, which have exposed the weaknesses in their case and complicated and lengthened the proceedings, the source stated.
