Barry Keoghan, Sabrina Carpenter's ex, deactivates Instagram and requests 'respect' amid cheating rumors.

After Barry Keoghan deactivated his Instagram account, rumors circulated that he had cheated on girlfriend Sabrina Carpenter. In response, the "Saltburn" actor took to social media to clarify his decision and request respect.

I can only take so much. My name has been dragged across the internet in ways I usually don't respond to," he wrote on X. "I have to respond now because it's getting to a place where there are too many lines being crossed.

I deactivated my account because the messages I received were filled with lies, hatred, and disgusting commentary about my appearance, character, and parenting.

He continued, "Dragging my character and all that I worked hard for and stand for, I talked about being a heroine baby and how I grew up, and even dragged my dear mother into it. I knocked on my grannie's door and sat outside my baby boy's house, intimidating them. That's crossing a line."

"He concluded by stating that he works harder every day to become the healthiest and strongest person for his son, providing opportunities for him to learn, fail, and grow. He wants his son to look up to him, trust him completely, and know that he will always have his back. He emphasized the importance of his son reading about his father's journey when he grows up and asked for respect towards all. Thank you."

Keoghan's representative did not promptly respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's inquiry for comment.

At the Netflix Christmas special premiere on Thursday, Carpenter shocked fans with cheating rumors circulating about her relationship with Keoghan.

Despite rumors that her relationship with Keoghan ended due to infidelity, the "Taste" singer appeared in good spirits while promoting "A Nonsense Christmas."

TikTok influencer Breckie Hill, with 4.3 million followers, contributed to the infidelity rumors by sharing a video on the platform.

On the final night of her largest tour in LA, she was seen getting intimate with a blonde, semi-famous LA-based influencer who is well-known on TikTok at San Vincente Bungalows.

"Out of curiosity, I searched around and discovered that he and his pop star girlfriend ended their relationship abruptly just days before her final performances in LA. It appears that she discovered he had been secretly communicating with an influencer for months in an inappropriate manner."

Both Carpenter and Keoghan were contacted by Planet Chronicle Digital for comment.

An insider confirmed that the two are taking a break after first sparking romance rumors in December 2023.

According to People magazine, both individuals are young and career-oriented, which led them to take a break.
