Shania Twain is privileged to witness the new era of country music.
As the genre of country music evolves, Shania Twain is adapting to the new direction and embracing the changes.
Twain discussed with Planet Chronicle Digital at the People's Choice Country Awards how he felt "privileged" to observe the current era of country music.
She stated, "I am honored to be a part of the evolution of country music and its future direction."
Twain was excited to meet some of the new artists at the country award show on Sept. 26, which he hosted.
Twain, 59, is one of the best-selling music artists with over 100 million records sold. She is also the best-selling female country music artist ever. Twain has even been given the nickname of the "Queen of Country Pop."
"I'm also privileged to be a part of where the new country is going. I don't want to say new country, but the evolution of country music and where it's headed." — Shania Twain
Despite her advancing age, Twain has displayed no signs of slowing down. She recently launched her Come On Over Las Vegas residency in May and released her latest studio album, "Queen of Me," last February.
The singer gains inspiration to continue in the country music industry because she considers herself a fan.

Twain revealed to Jack Hardwick of The Sun's Bizarre column in May that he would keep the lights on and look in the mirror whenever he was naked in his house or hotel, wherever there was a mirror.
"Many individuals, both young and old, feel uncomfortable looking at themselves naked in the mirror as they age, which is a shame."
Twain isn't afraid to see "another sag" or cellulite.
She stated that she wanted to be notified immediately if she noticed any new sag or cellulite.
"The musician stated, "I want to accept it instead of feeling the need to hide it or pretend it didn't happen." They acknowledged that they cannot change the situation and have no intention of making superficial changes."
Previously, the "You're Still The One" singer disclosed her pre-show routine, which involved an all-liquid diet.
"Twain previously stated in People magazine that if he consumed any solids prior to the show, he would need to burp, which would be a nightmare because he would have to sing around the burp and it would be distracting. As a result, he typically avoids eating solids on show days until after the show, consuming only liquids."
