DeVito and Schwarzenegger, who recently reunited for the 2024 Oscars, are discussing a project with Warner Bros., but it won't be a sequel to "Twins."
Schwarzenegger and DeVito were friends before "Twins," and they would meet occasionally, not at the gym because DeVito doesn't go there. They are excited to be back on screen together and hope to be in production next year. They always have a great time together, and Schwarzenegger is a wonderful person.
The former California governor and the 79-year-old have maintained a close relationship, with the latter frequently visiting the former's residence.
"Schwarzenegger's home is filled with pets, including Schnelly the pig, who bites me when I try to feed him. We smoke a stogie in the yard and have a good time together. I love him."
Over the years, DeVito has been reminded to keep his weight down by the former body builder.

He revealed to Planet Chronicle Digital that he and others discuss their love for food, particularly ice cream and dessert.
"I introduce him to Italian cuisine, but he advises me to consume less."
DeVito discussed his upcoming role in "Matilda in Concert" with the New Jersey Symphony, which takes place later this month.
"As Mr. Wormwood, I'm in the movie and have a mustache. I also narrate the film. That night, I'll be on stage while the New Jersey Symphony orchestra conducts. I'm really excited for that performance."
A telekinetic girl, Matilda, was the subject of a Roald Dahl book adaptation, despite her parents being uninterested in intellectual pursuits.
Danny DeVito discusses his experience performing in the 'Matilda in Concert' production with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, describing it as "off the charts."
In the film, DeVito acted opposite his wife, Rhea Perlman, and experienced becoming a grandparent.
"We collaborated on many off-Broadway projects and she was my girlfriend on "Taxi." She was known as the "nice girl," and we've accomplished a lot together. We have a beautiful family of children whom I adore, and we are now grandparents. My middle daughter, Grace, recently had a baby, Sinclair, who will turn one on March 17. Being a grandfather is an indescribable experience. It's truly exceptional."
He confessed that he shed tears when his daughter, Lucy, revealed her pregnancy to him before their Broadway show "I Need That," where they portrayed a father-daughter relationship.

"DeVito shared with Planet Chronicle Digital how one night, his daughter came to his dressing room and told him she was pregnant. He broke into tears, but it turned out to be good for the play because in the script, his character is a hoarder and his daughter is taking care of him while he's holding her back in life. The line that Theresa Rebeck wrote for the play was, "Go, you know, she'd go to Nebraska, ‘Take that job, go, you know, meet somebody nice and have kids. That's who you take care of.’" Every night, DeVito got to say that line on Broadway, which he considered a gift."
DeVito stated that he and Perlman, despite being separated, are doing well.
"We share our new granddaughter, Lucy, and we see each other frequently," he said. "Yesterday was Lucy's birthday, and we celebrated together with a family party. We're a tight family."
The actors who played DeVito's wife, Mara Wilson, and Miss Trunchbull in "Matilda" will make guest appearances at the March 22 performance of "Matilda in Concert" at the State Theatre New Jersey.
