Dru Hammer, Armie Hammer's mother, is addressing the accusations of sexual misconduct and cannibalistic desires that led to her son's downfall in the entertainment industry.

In an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, the author of "Hammered" recounted the events that led to Armie Hammer's downfall. Dru, a devout Christian, expressed her relief that the 37-year-old actor has turned to sobriety and is rediscovering his faith.

Dru Hammer, Armie's mother, stated that she believes Armie is the "most fabulous son in the world." She also mentioned that she has two other fabulous sons, including Armie's brother, Viktor.

She stated that at the age of 14, Armie experienced an incident which caused his life to spiral out of control.

"Dru continued, "He was such a delight and had a kind heart. People often said he was the nicest person they had ever worked with. However, everyone's heart gets hammered, and his was hammered at 14. I take responsibility.""

In a February interview with Air Mail, Armie spoke out about the allegations and disclosed that he had been sexually abused by a youth pastor as a teenager, which he said sparked his fascination with BDSM.

"If something inappropriate happens to your child, you must be proactive, Dru emphasized. She also expressed her hope that she could have had her marriage in counseling earlier, as her former husband was also abused. Through her experiences, she has learned a lot and hopes to use her knowledge to help others who have gone through similar situations."

"As a child, Armie was a delight," she said. "But then he got into Hollywood and began abusing alcohol and drugs. I'm grateful that he's now almost four years sober, and he's taking small steps towards reconnecting with his faith."

"For 23 years, I prayed for him, demonstrating God's responsiveness to prayers, yet it doesn't always happen according to our schedule."

Armie Hammer’s mother says actor is ‘baby-stepping back to Jesus’ after cannibalism allegations

In 2010, Armie made his career breakthrough with "The Social Network," and since then, he has landed several major roles in films, including "Call Me By Your Name," which earned him a Golden Globe nomination for best supporting actor in 2017.

In 2020, Armie Hammer's life took a turn when his wife, Elizabeth Chambers, filed for divorce and later, several women accused him of sexual violence.

An anonymous Instagram account, House of Effie, made the first allegation against Armie Hammer. Unconfirmed screenshots were shared, purportedly showing messages from Hammer to an unnamed woman describing violent sexual fantasies, including references to rape and the actor's admission that he was "100% a cannibal." Hammer labeled these attacks as "vicious and spurious."

Armie Hammer's ex-girlfriend, Paige Lorenze, stated that she found it "definitely disturbing" when he expressed a desire to smoke and eat her ribs.

"Lorenze previously told Planet Chronicle Digital that he was discussing with someone the removal of unnecessary ribs, which were located at the bottom and were near a smoker at their house. The individual wanted to smoke and eat the ribs, and they wondered how they would taste. They were essentially saying, "I think they would be delicious.""

The actor was accused of rape by two other women and the owner of the House of Effie Instagram account, who claimed the assault happened in a Los Angeles hotel room in 2017.

Armie denied all allegations at the time.

In 2023, the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office declared that Armie would not be charged with any offenses related to the accusations.

Hammer, while conversing with Air Mail, asserted that he had no criminal wrongdoing, stating that all his sexual encounters were consensual, but he admitted to emotionally abusing former partners.

Dru revealed her initial response to the allegations against her son during her interview with Planet Chronicle Digital.

"Firstly, most of the girls in my home were in love with my son during Thanksgiving. One of them stayed in my home and Armie takes full responsibility. He stated, 'I never abused anyone, and it was entirely consensual.'"

Dru continued, "They were like puppy dogs around him, and I believe they saw him as Mr. Right while he saw them as Miss Right Now because he was broken and not completely divorced yet."

She remembered recalling, "But when you read that your son is a cannibal, I called him and said, 'Armie, are there any girls out there with limbs missing? I mean, is there something I'm missing out on?'"

"Dru stated, "It was so audacious that he would actually eat people." He added, "I know there were texts that circulated, but I told Armie, 'I have to stop what I say.' I've walked up to babies and said, 'Oh my gosh, you're the cutest thing in the world. I could eat you up,' but I'm not eating babies.""

"He went through a dark phase, but he was exonerated from any criminal activity. I always say he was not criminally wrong, but morally wrong. As a praying mother, I would tell him that he had no chance in hell because I was praying for him every day."

"Dru stated, "My only concern is for my sons to do what is right and serve the Lord. That's what I observe, and it's part of my book's narrative — I've been blessed to witness the entire story unfold and see God restore our family.""

Dru worked to mend her relationship with Armie's ex-wife, Chambers, who is the mother of their shared children Harper, 9, and Ford, 7. The couple married in 2010 and divorced in 2023.

During a July interview on "Piers Morgan Uncensored," Armie admitted to Chambers that he had cheated on her while they were married, stating that infidelity played a significant role in their divorce.

"All I care about is that my sons do what's right and serve the Lord. And that's what I'm seeing." — Dru Hammer

In July, Dru revealed on "The Outlier Podcast" that she had a conversation with Chambers during which she expressed her forgiveness towards her former daughter-in-law, stating, "The divorce is over, and I love you. Bygones are bygones. I understand that you were hurt, and I ask you to forgive me if I've ever done anything that hurt you."

In her interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, Dru discussed the significance of forgiving Chambers.

"Dru stated, "I'm sure Elizabeth had to forgive me for some things as well. Our relationship is crucial because she gave birth to my wonderful grandchildren. I understand the pain of infidelities in a marriage, as I've experienced it myself. For me, forgiveness is key.""

"She stated, "I rarely discussed it with friends, except for a select few whom I trusted. My book's theme is forgiveness, and Jesus advises us to forgive not just seven times, but seventy times seven.""

"I am grateful that Elizabeth and Armie are co-parenting peacefully and in friendship. This is a testament to God's restoration."

Following the revelations, Armie Hammer's career came to a sudden halt. He left the film "Shotgun Wedding," where he was to co-star with Jennifer Lopez, just before production began. He also exited the Paramount+ series "The Offer," the Starz series "Gaslit," and the Broadway play "The Minutes." Additionally, he was dropped by his agency, WME, and his publicist.

In September 2022, a three-part docuseries on Discovery+ explored Armie Hammer's scandals and the history of the renowned Hammer family dynasty.

Dru's memoir "Hammered," which is now available on Amazon and her website Druville.com, explores the effects of cancel culture on her family.

"The cancel culture that happened with Armie and our family, as depicted in the documentary, was a perfect storm due to the ongoing COVID pandemic," she stated.

"Dru stated, "People were not in an office setting, so they couldn't leave their homes or go to restaurants. They were trapped at home, which created a sense of urgency. Good, happy stories don't sell as well as negative or scandalous ones.""

"I believe that there is a place for the #MeToo movement and cancel culture, but I also believe that it can be taken too far. Men and women have been canceled without any criminal charges."

"I hope that this may cause both sides to be heard and the situation to shift back to a more balanced perspective."

Armie Hammer's mother, Dru Hammer, has released a new tell-all memoir titled "Hammered."

Armie Hammer admitted to entering a rehabilitation facility for drug and alcohol abuse in May 2021. He also stated that Robert Downey Jr. supported him as a mentor during his recovery. However, during his interview on "Piers Morgan Uncensored," Hammer denied reports that Downey had paid for his rehab stint.

In a recent "Club Random" podcast episode, Armie revealed that he is now broke and disclosed that he did not receive any financial support from his family.

Although Armie previously expressed his doubts about mounting a comeback in Hollywood, he told Piers Morgan that he is currently working on an "autobiographical" script.

Dru stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that she believes Armie will eventually return to acting.

"She said, 'I believe it's his calling,' and I replied, 'I believe there was a blur, and he got caught up with the whole Hollywood thing. And now that he's sober, how much better are you going to be?'"

After viewing Armie Hammer portray evangelist Billy Graham in the 2008 film "Billy: The Early Years," Dru realized that acting was "the calling of the Lord" for him.

"However, we may also falter," she remarked. "Nevertheless, God offers opportunities for redemption."

In an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, Dru revealed the reason behind her openness about her life and family in her memoir, "Hammered."

"I believe that every heart has been hammered, and I was hammered as much as anyone. I've had a lot of highs, and it took me ten years to write the book because I believe that if you write a book, you have to be extremely honest."

She stated, "To truly help others, you must share your story, including the good, the bad, and the ugly. My life has had its fair share of all three, and I believe that sharing my experiences can bring forgiveness and healing. If you hold onto bitterness, it will consume you."

"Jesus stated, 'You will encounter difficulties and hardships, but I have conquered the world.' He bestows upon us life and life in abundance. As a result, I am eager to convey this message."
