Christina Hall is filming her new HGTV series "The Flip-Off" with her ex-husband Ant Anstead, following the departure of her estranged husband Josh Hall from the show.
On Thursday, a 41-year-old real estate investor and TV personality was captured on set with a 45-year-old "Wheeler Dealers" host during the filming of "The Flip-Off," which also features Christina's first ex-husband Tarek El Moussa, 43, and his wife Heather, 37.
According to a source, Anstead is currently filming a portion of the show with Christina.
Photos obtained by People magazine show Christina and Anstead outside a house on the set of "The Flip-Off."
Christina on the Coast and Anstead both wore black outfits, with Christina sporting a blazer, jeans, and boots, while Anstead opted for a t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers.
Anstead and Christina were photographed talking while standing beside a black SUV, with Anstead smiling broadly at his ex-wife.
"Christina and Anstead appeared to have a strong bond even when cameras weren't filming, according to a source who spoke to E! News."
Josh was set to star alongside her in "The Flip-Off," a real estate flip-off contest where they would compete against El Moussa and Heather. The show was announced in May and production started shortly before Josh and Christina filed for divorce on July 7.
After the divorce of the former couple, it was reported by a source to Us Weekly that Josh is no longer associated with the show, while Christina, Tarek, and Heather continued without him.
In August, Christina expressed her thoughts on replacing Josh with Anstead as her co-star in "The Flip Off."
In the comments of an Instagram post by Christina, a fan proposed that Anstead replace Josh on the show.
If Ant were to replace Josh on The Flip Off, ratings would skyrocket. If this happens, I deserve some recognition. Ha!
Christina replied, "That 'ratings' idea is genius, just saying."
A representative for Christina stated that they are not providing further details on her comments at the moment when contacted by Planet Chronicle Digital.
Christina and Tarek, who are parents to daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9, were married from 2009 to 2018. Despite their divorce in 2018, the former couple continued to co-star in the hit HGTV reality show "Flip or Flop" for 10 seasons from 2013 to 2022.
In January 2023, Tarek and Heather, who had been dating for three years and starred in the Netflix reality show "Selling Sunset," welcomed their first child, a son named Tristan.
In 2018, Christina married Anstead at their home in Newport Beach, California, and welcomed son Hudson in 2019. However, the couple announced their separation in September 2020, and Christina filed for divorce two months later.
In April 2022, Anstead filed for full custody of Hudson, alleging that Christina had spent little time with their son since they began co-parenting.
According to multiple reports, Christina spent an average of nine full days each month over the last 20 months and an average of seven full days per month in 2022 with Hudson.
At the time, Christina replied, expressing her sadness over Anstead's filing and stating that she is a "good mom."
According to documents obtained by Planet Chronicle Digital, the TV presenter raised concerns about Hudson's image being utilized for paid content and on a television production set.
Christina later announced on Instagram that Hudson would no longer feature on her social media.
In December 2022, Christina and Anstead agreed to a settlement and opted to continue their existing joint custody arrangement.
After then, Christina and Anstead's relationship has improved and they are now following each other again on Instagram.
Christina revealed to Backgrid in August that she had decided to reconnect with the "For the Love of Cars" cast member.
Christina stated in People magazine that she and the ant share Hudson and she believes the ant deserves for them to get along.
Christina commended her first ex-husband and his spouse, stating, "Tarek, Heather, and I have a great relationship," she said. "Co-parenting with them has been a pleasure."
Since April 2021, Anstead has been in a relationship with Renee Zellweger, whom he met on the set of his show "Celebrity IOU Joyride."
In October 2021, Christina and Josh secretly got married, and then they renewed their vows in September 2022 with a ceremony in Hawaii.
Josh and Christina have different dates of separation when they filed for divorce, with Josh citing July 8 and Christina noting July 7 as the day they separated.
According to court documents obtained by Planet Chronicle Digital, Christina has accused her estranged husband of transferring $35,000 of her money into his personal bank account on July 8, just after their divorce filing.
Christina stated in the documents that she would not have asked him to send her money the day after she informed him of the divorce.
In his divorce filing, Josh requested spousal support from Christina. In her latest court filing, Christina stated that her ex "should not require" spousal support as he has his own source of income.
The acrimony between the former couple has escalated, with Christina frequently criticizing her ex on social media.
Josh filed a motion last month to halt Christina's sale of a Tennessee home she listed for $4.5 million, court documents reveal. Since their split in July, Josh has been residing at the property.
