Allegations of domestic violence against 'Home Improvement' star Zachery Ty Bryan involve choking and punching a woman.
Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested on charges of domestic violence on January 1st by authorities.
On January 1st, Zachery Ty Bryan was arrested for allegedly choking and punching an unidentified woman during a domestic dispute.
According to a police report, the "Home Improvement" actor was accused by a woman of choking and punching her in the face multiple times.
An unknown woman was attacked and tried to be killed by Bryan, as reported by a third party to 911.
The woman, who lived with Bryan and shared children with the actor, was observed by a South Carolina police officer with bruising and swelling on the right side of her face.
Planet Chronicle Digital reached out to Bryan's representative for comment.
According to Horry County Sheriff's records, the former child star was released on a $10,000 bond on January 3.
In July 2023, Bryan was arrested in Eugene, Oregon, for a physical domestic dispute with an unnamed woman and charged with two counts of assault in the fourth degree.
Instead of serving 19 to 20 months in jail, Bryan was able to serve only seven days due to a negotiated resolution that resulted in the dismissal of one charge.
Bryan has also experienced trouble with the law for driving drunk.
In October 2024, Bryan was arrested in Oklahoma on a DUI charge. After declining a sobriety test, he was placed in an Oklahoma Highway Patrol vehicle and taken to jail. During the car ride, Bryan apologized to the arresting officer for "liking to drink."
"I'm just a good dude, man, I don't know why everybody is so critical of me. I'm sorry, I like to drink," Bryan said to Trooper Kendrick Johnson.

According to a PC affidavit obtained by Planet Chronicle Digital, an officer noticed Bryan sleeping in his Range Rover on the side of the road at 6:47 a.m. The officer parked his vehicle nearby, and a short time later, Bryan drove by.
Bryan was also arrested in California for driving while intoxicated months before.
As a child, Bryan commenced his career in the entertainment industry, featuring in TV and print commercials while growing up in Denver, Colorado.
As Brad Taylor in "Home Improvement," he got his first major role. From childhood to adolescence, he appeared in TV shows like "Cold Case," "E.R.," "Smallville," and "Veronica Mars." Eventually, he established his own production company, Lost Lane.
Bryan's situation has been a mystery to "Home Improvement" co-star Tim Allen, who admitted in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that he didn't know what was happening with him.
"At a certain point, he deviated from the guy I know to somebody who is reacting to situations that I had nothing to do with and can’t control." — Tim Allen
"In 2023, Allen stated to the outlet that at a certain point, he diverged from the person I know to someone who was responding to situations that I had no involvement in and couldn't control. He added, "I don't understand what happens when people become corrupt. It's just unpredictable.""
"Zach has evolved from a simple child into a complex individual, and the only thing you can do is stand back and watch as they navigate their journey."
