After 10 years of marriage, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson have parted ways.
In 2014, Jessica Simpson, known for her hit song "With You," and ex-NFL player Eric Johnson tied the knot.
Jessica Simpson and her husband Eric Johnson have ended their relationship, according to Planet Chronicle Digital.
The actress and singer disclosed that they have been living apart but did not provide any information about the duration of her separation from Johnson.
Simpson stated in a People magazine interview that she and Eric have been living separately while dealing with a difficult situation in their marriage.
"We prioritize our children's well-being and are concentrating on what is best for them. We are thankful for the love and support we have received and kindly request privacy as we navigate this situation as a family."
"Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family." — Jessica Simpson
In November, Simpson started working on a music comeback, and Johnson was seen without his wedding ring.
At the time, a source informed People that she was working on music and divided her time between Los Angeles and Nashville, while Eric spent all of his time in L.A., where the kids went to school.
The insider pointed out that Jess and Eric lead very separate lives.
Simpson's Instagram post about her musical comeback sparked rumors of a split, as she "discovered her unique talent."
"She stated, "This comeback is personal and serves as an apology to myself for enduring what I did not deserve.""
In May 2010, Simpson and Johnson met through a mutual friend and got engaged six months later in November.
In 2014, the couple married after welcoming their first two children, Maxwell and Ace. Later, in 2019, they welcomed their third child, Birdie.
Johnson has been supportive of her career throughout their marriage.
"I don't find it difficult to love others, but I've always believed that I was difficult to love, that I was too much for people, or my schedule was too demanding," she confessed to People in 2023. "He knows my heart and understands me better than anyone I've ever met in my life."
Simpson also gushed over Johnson in a birthday tribute shared on Instagram.
On September 15, Eric turned 44 and his family showered him with all the love cells they had to celebrate his life. The sentiment of this woman in 2023 was, "I am so taken with this man, I could hardly call it my own... We love youuuu."
