A happy marriage, according to Sammy Hagar, involves enjoyment in the bedroom.
The Las Vegas Strip has been given a key to the former Van Halen frontman, who is celebrating the 15th anniversary of Cabo Wabo Cantina.
The former Van Halen frontman, Sammy Hagar, has been given the key to the Las Vegas Strip and also possesses the key to a successful marriage.
Kari Karte and Hagar will commemorate their 30th wedding anniversary next year, and the rocker reveals that the key to their enduring relationship is incredible chemistry.
In an interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, the Cabo Wabo Cantina founder advised couples to maintain their marriage by "enjoying their sexual life."
Hagar stated that they still have fun in the bedroom, and that they always say that when they are sleeping in separate beds.
The former Van Halen frontman stated that while it's not just about giving and taking in a relationship, being physically attracted to each other and enjoying each other physically is often undervalued or underestimated.
Hagar stated that it doesn't matter if they wrestle, as they often do when his kids visit, and they engage in headlocks and other moves on the floor mat.

He emphasized the importance of staying physically active, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and never attempting to control a woman's choices.
"We still have fun in the bedroom, I tell you that. You know what I mean? I think I always say that, you know, when you guys are sleeping in separate beds and stuff, well, that's usually the end of it." — Sammy Hagar
In 1995, Hagar and Karte got married and have two daughters, Kama and Samantha. The singer also has sons, Aaron and Andrew, from his previous marriage to Betsy Berardi.
Hagar recently marked a significant achievement and was presented with a key to the Las Vegas Strip. The rock and roll icon recalls his wild experiences in Sin City and likens it to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
"In Cabo, I apply the saying 'what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas' because nothing ever happened there. I don't even need to admit it," he said. "Being in a rock and roll band like Van Halen and spending my whole life in rock has made for a lot of crazy experiences."

In my old age, I'm much more subdued. Although I still enjoy getting silly on stage and saying things that might be considered inappropriate, my wife allows it because she knows I have a special pass when I'm performing. However, I can't keep living that way anymore.
He wants to remain married and avoid embarrassing his kids, who are now old enough to ask, "Dad, did you do what?" The town has a reputation for a lot of things happening daily, multiple times. He guarantees that anything you can imagine happens there.
In his interview with Planet Chronicle Digital, Hagar stated that the secret to being a good father is quite straightforward.
"You must demonstrate their love and inform them of their belonging, and assure them that you are always there for them. They have a home," he stated.
Hagar emphasized the importance of feeling loved and supported, stating, "They must feel that you will always be there with open arms, ready to provide comfort and support whenever they need it."
The singer observed that his children's confidence has increased since he showed them love, instead of fear.

The Red Rocker has had a successful and multi-decade career, while also maintaining a happy marriage and healthy relationship with his adult children. Meanwhile, Hagar is celebrating the 15th anniversary of his famous Cabo Wabo Cantina.
"The most rewarding part of it (Cabo Wabo Cantina), is that my fans seem to love what I love. Like, if I like a place or like a certain kind of food or certain drink, a certain kind of music, it just so happens to be that they usually like it, too. So, we get along. I get along well with them Redheads." — Sammy Hagar
"Hagar stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that the most fulfilling aspect of his career is that his fans share his interests. He explained, "When I like a particular place, food, drink, or music, it turns out that my fans often have the same preferences. As a result, we have a strong bond.""
"That's been the most rewarding thing that's worked. It's been successful," he continued.
Since 1990, Hagar has been the owner of the first Cabo Wabo Cantina in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Over time, the business has expanded to Las Vegas and Hollywood. Hagar has attributed much of Cabo Wabo's success to chef Tacho Kneeland, who has been with the company from the beginning.

The Las Vegas Strip's competitive nature has made it difficult for the musician to keep the doors open at their location.
"The only challenge in Las Vegas is the high cost due to intense competition on the strip, as he explained. He added, "The rent is so high that if I told you the amount, you'd be shocked.""
