A devastating blaze in Palisades ravaged a high school that has been featured in several Hollywood films.
The films 'Carrie' and 'Freaky Friday' were filmed at Palisades Charter High School.
The Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles is experiencing wildfires that have caused Palisades Charter High School to catch fire.
The wildfires have severely damaged the popular Hollywood production location, which is known for its burning property.
The Los Angeles school system announced that Palisades Charter High School, an independent charter high school, is not currently in session. As a result, no specific actions related to students or staff are necessary at this time.
"Palisades Charter High School students and employees will receive any and all assistance from Los Angeles Unified."
The school announced on their website that they will provide updates on the spring semester schedule. It is advised for students and families to stay away from the area and follow evacuation orders.
"Please stay safe!" the note concluded.
On Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. PT, Palisades Charter High School's football stadium was partially engulfed in flames. The score box was reportedly ablaze, with embers swirling around the affected area. The baseball field was completely destroyed, and some buildings were severely damaged. The wind gust was reported to be between 35 and 40 mph.
The school's 3,000 students have not yet returned to the facility because they are currently on winter break.

Both "Carrie" and "Freaky Friday" were filmed at the high school, as well as the television series "Teen Wolf."
Notable celebrities who have attended the school include will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas, J.J. Abrams, Steve Kerr, Forest Whitaker, and Katey Sagal.
In the Pacific Palisades, over 30,000 residents have been instructed to evacuate due to the rampaging wildfires that have destroyed homes, including those of celebrities.

The Palisades Fire, fueled by powerful Santa Ana winds, started in the Santa Monica Mountains on Tuesday morning and rapidly consumed 200 acres in an hour, growing to almost 3,000 acres by sunset, according to FOX Weather.
Curtis and other celebrities have posted pictures of the "frightening circumstances."
"My community and possibly my home is on fire. My family is safe. Many of my friends will lose their homes," Curtis stated, as she posted a photo of a broken window with the view of the raging wildfires.
"The phrase "MY HAND IN YOURS" is particularly relevant now. Let's prioritize our safety and support each other. Please allow firefighters to do their job without interference. Regardless of your beliefs, pray for those who are putting themselves in harm's way."
On Tuesday, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, reality TV stars, confirmed on their Snapchat accounts that they had lost their home in a fire.
In a series of videos, "The Hills" star demonstrated how the fire rapidly spread over the hill and approached their property.
"Pratt remarked, "This isn't looking good," while filming the fire on the mountain behind their home. He had never seen the flames come over before. "Aw, man. OK, I'm going to go pack up," he said."
Chris Pratt, an actor, posted on X and requested that individuals unite in prayer for "the valiant firefighters who are giving so much to safeguard our homes and our community."
Candace Cameron Bure posted a picture of a wildfire on social media and stated that it was "heartbreaking to witness."
Derek Hough of "Dancing with the Stars" and other celebrities posted photos of the fire on Instagram, stating that they are preparing to evacuate with their pets.
"With winds reaching 100mph, we're preparing to evacuate with our five animals, as the power lines explode and fires spread rapidly, Hough wrote."
In Los Angeles County, another wildfire, known as the Woodley Fire, has emerged.
The fire in the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve in Encino has burned approximately 75 acres since it started at 6:15 a.m. local time on Wednesday, as reported by Cal Fire.
It is currently zero percent contained.
Gavin Newsom, the Governor of California, has declared a state of emergency, stating that the strongest winds were predicted to occur between 10 p.m. on Tuesday and 5 a.m. on Wednesday.
By Tuesday evening, over 200,000 individuals in Los Angeles County were without electricity.
