On Saturday morning in Colorado, a Civil Air Patrol plane crash resulted in the death of two individuals and left a third person with severe injuries, according to authorities.
The Cessna 182's occupants were engaged in a search and rescue training exercise when the plane crashed in a Larimer County wooded area, as confirmed by the Civil Air Patrol to Planet Chronicle Digital.
"Maj. Gen. Regena Aye, national commander of Civil Air Patrol, expressed sympathy to the families, members, and friends affected by the tragic event. She stated that Civil Air Patrol members serve because they care about America's communities and are committed to ensuring the safety and security of their people, who are their most important resource."
