Brady flaunted his accomplishments over Thanksgiving weekend by posting an Instagram carousel featuring a shirtless photo of a fight he witnessed at sea.
Brady posted a photo of the snowstorm at the Buffalo Bills-San Francisco 49ers game in Orchard Park, New York, on Sunday night, captioning it as "A little warmer than it looked in Buffalo last night."
Brady's shirtless photo was the focus of Manning's X post, which elicited laughter from many as he compared it to his own fishing picture.
"Tom, you caught a big and better Minnow!" Manning wrote.
Brady, who had lost twice to Manning's New York Giants in Super Bowl meetings, refused to let him escape. He responded over the post.
"Do you also wear a helmet to catch it?" Brady asked.
In that year, the undefeated Patriots were defeated by the Giants, a wild card team from the NFC.

Although Brady is almost certain to be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility, there is ongoing debate about whether Manning deserves a bronze bust in Canton, Ohio this year.
