Najee Harris of the Steelers attributes his brief absence to a teammate's girlfriend's Thanksgiving meal.

On Sunday, Najee Harris, the Pittsburgh Steelers running back, tied the game against the Cincinnati Bengals in the second quarter with a 10-yard rushing touchdown and led the team in yards.

Early in the matchup, it appeared that Harris might have sustained an injury.

In the first quarter, Harris was briefly sidelined due to a knee injury, but he later admitted it was not as serious as it seemed. He confessed to reporters after the game that he had overindulged on food at Thanksgiving, which was hosted by Steelers tight end Pat Freiermuth's girlfriend, Jill.

"It's Thanksgiving, and Jill, Pat's girlfriend, made this little banana thing," Harris said. "I had too much and didn't realize it affected me until the first drive. So, I blame her."

The former Alabama Crimson Tide player stated that he consumed oranges to alleviate his condition.

In the high-scoring affair, Harris' clutch touchdown was instrumental. He ended up with 75 rushing yards on 16 carries and six catches for 54 yards.

On X, Freiermuth had six catches for 68 yards and a touchdown grab. His girlfriend received a special shoutout from him after Steelers fans were surprised with the 44-point result.

The AFC North leaders, Pittsburgh, now have a 9-3 record and hold first place in the division.
