On Sunday, Trevor Lawrence, the quarterback of the Jacksonville Jaguars, was forced to leave the game against the Houston Texans due to a concussion he sustained from a violent tackle by linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair.

Lawrence was momentarily incapacitated before he was able to walk to a cart and be removed from the field. Mac Jones played the rest of the game, and Jacksonville lost to Houston, 23-20.

Trevor's wife, Marissa Lawrence, expressed gratitude to those who contacted her.

"She expressed gratitude for the messages and well-wishes on Instagram Stories, stating that she was taking time to ensure her loved one's well-being and recovery."

The Jaguars quarterback also had a health update in a post on X.

"I appreciate everyone who contacted me and prayed for my well-being. I'm now feeling better and am grateful for your support," he posted on X.

The brawl between players from both teams was caused by a hit on Lawrence, which led to the ejection of Al-Shaair and Jarrian Jones.

Jaguars players ripped Al-Shaair for the hit.

Josh Allen-Hines, via ESPN, stated that the hit on him was unwise. "Although football is just a game, the new rules have made it necessary to review such incidents.

"Discussing these topics, we are skilled in playing football. Although it would have been a successful play a few years ago, it was not a good one this time. I will not judge whether he deserves suspension or not, as it is not my responsibility at that moment. It was unwise."

Lawrence was defended by Engram, who deemed Al-Shaair's hit "dirty."

"I instinctively knew it was a dirty play," he said via the Jaguars' site. "I didn't feel like it was a clean hit, so I went to stick up for him. I saw him sliding, and then I saw the hit. It just felt wrong."
