Youngkin's Record Inspires Earle-Sears to Announce VA Gov Bid: All About Business
Virginia would elect its first Black woman as governor.
Virginia Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears declared her intention to succeed Gov. Glenn Youngkin in 2025, stating that she aims to continue the economic revitalization efforts initiated by her fellow Republican.
If Earle-Sears wins the primary, he may face Rep. Abigail Spanberger, D-Va., in the general election.
Earle-Sears stated on Friday that it is crucial for us to win, as the opposing side is planning to engage in numerous manipulations and "gotcha" tactics that will hinder Virginia's progress.
Youngkin's single term has established a strong foundation for a like-minded successor, as Sears stated.
"Earle-Sears stated on "Fox & Friends" that we must continue to develop on our progress. We have relocated corporate headquarters from overseas to our location, and our businesses have flourished. Additionally, we have served as a nurturing ground for entrepreneurship."
"The focus is on business because it generates revenue, which enables us to enjoy the things we value, such as a high quality of life, good schools, well-maintained infrastructure, and more."
A Youngkin spokesman praised Earle-Sears as a "steadfast partner" while speaking with Planet Chronicle Digital.
Justin Discigil stated on Friday that Governor Youngkin is fully committed to aiding Republicans in winning Virginia in 2024, as this election is about displaying strength versus weakness, including a robust economy, a safe border, and a strong nation.
"The 2025 election will focus on continuing Virginia's success with practical policies or reverting to the unproductive left-progressive agenda."
Earle-Sears, a Black woman who emigrated from Jamaica as a youth, would be the first to hold such an office in Richmond.
Earle-Sears, a former state legislator from Virginia Beach who served in the U.S. Marine Corps, won a major upset in a majority-Democratic district in her initial election.
She stated that she had three months to run and no funds.
If you possess the correct ideas and have been given a mandate by voters to proceed, you must continue moving forward, as stated on Planet Chronicle Channel.
"Hostile legislators are determined to thwart you in every way possible because they believe you will gain an advantage, but the true victors will be the people."
