VP Harris is "actively promoting" illegal immigration in collaboration with Mexico, Cruz alleges.
Cruz states that Harris and Mexico share common interests.
Republican Texas Senator Ted Cruz accused Vice President Kamala Harris of collaborating with Mexico's president to encourage the influx of illegal immigrants into the U.S., with the intention of shifting the U.S. political landscape to the left.
"Kamala Harris and many congressional Democrats want to increase the number of illegal immigrants in America," Cruz stated in his "Verdict" podcast on Monday. "They are actively promoting, facilitating, and speeding up the influx at our southern border."
""The Mexican government is actively aiding and assisting human traffickers, providing bus rides and armed escorts to bring illegal immigrants to the border, as per Kamala Harris's orders," he continued."
The Mexican government announced over the weekend that it will offer escorted bus rides from southern Mexico to the U.S. border for non-Mexican citizens granted U.S. asylum, and Cruz responded to the news.
According to the AP, buses will depart from cities like Villahermosa and Tapachula to journey north to the U.S. border.
The Associated Press article on air reported that the Mexican government's decision to transport migrants via bus may be an attempt to encourage them to apply for asylum appointments in southern Mexico, rather than traveling to Mexico City or the border.
One week after the US expanded access to the CBP One application to southern Mexico, Cruz announced the change.
"Both AMLO and Kamala Harris desire to increase illegal immigration into America, with the same objective of shifting the United States' policies to the left."
The Texas senator claimed that the Democratic Party, along with Harris, aims to increase the number of migrants in the U.S. from more than 11 million to 20 million, 30 million, and eventually to 40 million.
Cruz stated that, in his opinion, if that occurs, Democrats will secure victory in every election indefinitely.
During the conversation, Ben Ferguson, Cruz's co-host, stated that Mexico would not provide escorted buses from southern Mexico to the U.S. border unless both countries collaborate.
Cruz agreed that both nations "have mutual interests."
Harris' vice presidential office declined to comment on Planet Chronicle Digital's request.
