Trump pledges to mend the world following the Georgia school shooting: "Distraught and furious"
Trump stated that the world is sick and angry for numerous reasons.
During his Planet Chronicle town hall event in a crucial swing state, former President Donald Trump pledged to "mend our world" if he is re-elected, while addressing the Georgia school shooting.
Trump stated on Wednesday at the New Holland Arena in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, that the world is sick and angry due to various reasons, but they will make it better by healing it and eliminating the wars that arise due to incompetence.
During the town hall, Planet Chronicle' Sean Hannity mentioned the recent shooting at a high school in Barrow County, Georgia, as well as the heightened security measures at Trump's public events following the assassination attempt on him in July.
Trump stated, "We hope to do well in the upcoming election as we are well-prepared to excel."
On Wednesday, four individuals were fatally shot at Apalachee High School by 14-year-old suspect Colt Gray during the 10 a.m. hour. The victims were two students and two teachers, according to officials.
Nine others were injured in the shooting.
Two school resource officers and law enforcement arrived at the school within minutes, as Barrow County Sheriff Jud Smith announced during a Wednesday afternoon press conference.
"The subject surrendered to the officers immediately upon encounter and was subsequently taken into custody."
According to Smith, Gray, a high school student, will be charged with murder and tried as an adult.
On Wednesday, Trump visited Pennsylvania for a town hall meeting, just six days before he will return to the state for a debate with Vice President Harris in Philadelphia.
