'Time to Fight Back': Harris-Walz Launches Scathing Ad on China's Record Ahead of Presidential Debate
The presidential debate will feature an ad in 7 battleground states.
During the upcoming debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, an anti-CCP group will launch a $100,000 ad campaign in crucial swing states, accusing Harris of harming the country through her stance on China.
The Protecting America Initiative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to safeguarding the nation from Communist China's growing influence in the states, announced the release of a six-figure TV ad that will air during the Trump-Harris Presidential Debate on Tuesday.
The ad, running in battleground states during the debate, targets the Harris-Walz record on China.
"The ad claims that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have opened the door to Communist China, allowing them to enter the country," the statement says.
"Harris has caused enough harm to our auto industry and has chosen a running mate under federal investigation for ties to the CCP. It's time to protect our manufacturing, food supply, and border by standing up to China and safeguarding America."
The Protecting America Initiative is a conservative nonprofit organization that aims to combat the growing threat of the Communist Chinese Party, with leadership from former Trump Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell and former GOP Congressman Lee Zeldin.
The Walz campaign has been under fire for its stance on China, with Walz himself being the focus of a House investigation into his past ties to the country.
Earlier this year, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer revealed that he is seeking information about the Chinese entities and officials that Governor Walz has "engaged and partnered with," as well as any "warnings or advice the FBI may have given to Governor Walz about U.S. political figures being targeted by or recruited for CCP influence operations."
Walz's "longstanding connections to CCP-connected entities and officials" make him vulnerable to the CCP's strategy of "elite capture," which aims to use influential figures in elite political, cultural, and academic circles to sway the United States to the benefit of the communist regime and at the expense of Americans.
Walz's "extensive engagement with CCP officials and entities while serving in public office" raises questions about "possible CCP influence in his decision-making as governor and, should he be elected, as vice president," according to Comer.
The Harris-Walz campaign did not respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's request for comment.
