The Trump prosecution records are being sought by the Manhattan DA's office through a lawsuit.
Trump's prosecution by Bragg was deemed 'political persecution' by America First Legal.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office is being sued by America First Legal for any communication records related to the prosecution of former President Trump, including interactions with the Biden-Harris campaign, the Democratic National Convention, and other groups.
America First Legal (AFL) filed the lawsuit Monday morning.
The Biden-Harris campaign, the DNC, Color of Change, and CREW are being sought for documents and communication by the organization.
The search is for records pertaining to attempts to obtain funds from the prosecution of the ex-president in the case of New York v. Trump.
Authentic Campaigns, a Democrat-affiliated political consulting firm run by Loren Merchan, is being investigated by AFL to determine if any records exist between her father, Judge Juan Merchan, and his office.
Alvin Bragg's office must fulfill its transparency obligations, as revealed by the public record, which shows a contradiction between statements from the U.S. Department of Justice and Bragg's own office regarding coordination between the two, according to AFL Vice President Dan Epstein.
"It seems that groups such as Color of Change are secretly collaborating between Washington, D.C., and New York City."
The group Color of Change, funded by Soros, described the prosecution of Trump as a result of their efforts in a statement.
The group met with President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris at the White House 16 times, according to AFL.
Bragg's office is being investigated by America First Legal for allegations of impartiality, politically motivated prosecution, and the misuse of the justice system.
Last week, Merchan was sued by AFL for not providing financial disclosures, despite concerns about his daughter's work at Authentic Campaigns.
Last week, the CEO of Authentic responded to the subpoena, stating that the accusations against the company are "totally unfounded and driven by political motivations."
In accordance with New York law, judges must submit annual financial disclosures that must be made accessible upon request.
Trump was convicted on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree following a six-week trial resulting from Bragg's investigation, despite having pleaded not guilty.
His legal team has moved to appeal the verdict.
Trump's request for a delay in sentencing was granted by Merchan, and the scheduled date for sentencing is November 26th.
