Sen. John Fetterman predicts that the Trump-Harris debate will be a close contest.
Pennsylvania voters will prioritize "order" over "chaos," according to Fetterman.
On Sunday, Sen. John Fetterman stated that both former President Trump and Vice President Harris are capable of holding their own in a debate, and that the upcoming ABC News Presidential Debate in Philadelphia on Tuesday will likely be a close contest.
During an interview on CNN's "State of the Union," Fetterman, D-Penn., responded to a question about winning over key voters in Pennsylvania by stating what Harris must do during the debate.
"Fetterman stated that the upcoming debate will be a straight-up debate, with both candidates performing well. However, he believes that the outcome will not be definitive as it will ultimately come down to the voter's choice, which will be close."
During the presidential election, Pennsylvania will always be a close vote, according to Fetterman, with the main concern of voters being "order" versus "chaos."
The senator stated that he believes most Pennsylvanians will choose a leader who offers four years of order, fairness, unity, and a new direction, rather than the chaos and darkness that Donald Trump brought to the nation.
On Sunday, the New York Times/Siena poll released results showing Trump receiving 48% of likely voters' support, while 47% indicated support for Harris.
