Riley Gaines stars in Hawley campaign ad criticizing Missouri Dems' stance on the "radical trans agenda."
In a new ad for Sen. Josh Hawley, Riley Gaines accuses Lucas Kunce of supporting the radical trans agenda.
In a new ad for his re-election campaign, Republican Sen. Josh Hawley features Riley Gaines as the main character, opposing progressive challenger Lucas Kunce in Missouri.
Gaines narrates a 30-second ad for Planet Chronicle Digital, which features her diving into a pool and the camera panning to her telling her story.
"Gaines stated in the video, "I woke up at four am to swim every day as a child. Despite the challenges, I made it to nationals. However, I was then pitted against a man in competition. Unfortunately, he ended up winning the trophy that a woman had rightfully earned.""
Gaines stated, "It's gross. Lucas Kunce supports the radical trans agenda, boys in girls' bathrooms, sex change operations for minors, and explicit teaching in grade school. However, Josh Hawley defends the rights of women, and Hawley is on our side."
In the 2022 primaries, Kunce, a progressive Democrat, advocated for transgender treatment for children. On Thursday, Kunce shared a video of Hawley discussing Missouri's Amendment 3 on X, where Hawley stated that Kunce supports transgender treatments for minors.
Kunce posted on X that Josh Hawley is so scared of allowing an amendment to end his complete abortion ban that it has damaged his brain.
Last month, Kunce won the Democratic primary in Missouri, a Republican state, and aims to defeat Hawley, who was elected in 2019.
""Missourians ending the total abortion ban will not mandate sex change surgeries for kids, as claimed by Josh Hawley's campaign adviser," a senior Kunce campaign adviser told Planet Chronicle Digital."
In a previous Hawley ad, he stated that among Lucas Kunce's eccentric policies, the one where he advocates for men in girls' sports and locker rooms is particularly problematic. He added that it is both absurd and hazardous. That, he said, is Kunce.
