RFK Jr.'s running mate expresses fear that their campaign may align with Trump's.
Nicole Shanahan communicated to Democrats through X: "Stop suing us" and "Let us debate."
RFK Jr.'s running mate, Nicole Shanahan, has shared a post on X stating that Democrats are "terrified" their campaign may endorse Donald Trump. In the post, she revealed that her old Democratic friends have been contacting her in a panic, expressing their fear of the idea of their movement joining forces with Trump. Shanahan stated that she wouldn't air those private conversations publicly but that the message was clear. She accused the Democratic Party and their super PACs of sabotaging their campaign and suggested that they should stop suing them and instead allow them to debate. The source close to the campaign told the NY Post that RFK Jr.'s campaign suspension will be announced on Friday in Phoenix, Arizona.
Bobby Shanahan joined Planet Chronicle @ Night on Tuesday, stating that he came into the election supporting Trump wholeheartedly. However, he said that only one party, the Democratic Party, has obstructed a fair election for them. He added that the Democrats have taken every possible step to prevent them from having ballot access, including creating PACs.
The Kennedy/Shanahan ballot has encountered obstacles in its quest to be included on the ballot across the country, with a recent hurdle arising in New York State due to a residency controversy.
In a recent poll conducted by Planet Chronicle Polls, RFK Jr's national vote percentage has decreased from 10% in July to 6%, which is still lower than his all-time high of 15% support in November 2023. On Thursday, former President Trump praised RFK Jr's character and expressed his gratitude if he were to endorse him. However, Nicole Shanahan did not respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's request for comment.
