Vice President Harris has surpassed former President Trump in approval ratings, while President Biden's rating has increased by 13 points in recent months.
Since March, there has been a 13-point increase in support for Biden's performance among USA Today/Suffolk poll voters, with 48% approving and 49% disapproving.

After the Democratic National Convention, a poll was conducted that showed a significant difference in President Biden's job performance compared to other polls. The Real Clear Politics polling average revealed that Biden was 12.3 points underwater across various polls.
Biden's best showing in polls was in an NPR/PBS/Marist poll conducted on Aug. 1-4, where 47% of respondents approved of his performance compared to 51% who disapproved, a four-point spread. However, in a Planet Chronicle poll conducted on Aug. 9-12, Biden was 18 points underwater, with voters disapproving of his performance 59%-41%.
The latest poll shows a 14-point spread against President Biden's performance compared to the previous poll conducted on March 3-8, where 55% of respondents disapproved of his performance compared to 41% who indicated disapproval.
The latest poll shows Biden leading Trump nationally by seven points, with a 48%-43% edge. This represents a significant shift from the March poll, where Trump had a slim 40%-38% lead over Biden.
Voter opinions on immigration played a significant role in helping Harris close the gap with Trump, as Trump's lead over Biden on the issue decreased from 13 points in March to just 3 points in October.
The Trump campaign declined to comment on a Planet Chronicle Digital request before the deadline.
Trump campaign National Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that Trump is constructing a significant movement to restore America's greatness and attract more support from disillusioned Democrats and Independents.

In contrast, Kamala Harris has damaged the economy, allowed dangerous illegal immigrants into the country, and funded bailouts for rioters. While Harris avoids public speaking without a script, Trump and his campaign will continue to campaign across the country, making a strong case against her."
A poll conducted by USA Today and Suffolk University surveyed 1,000 likely voters from August 25th to August 28th, with a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
