New job for former presidential candidate Nikki Haley.
Edelman, a renowned global communications firm, is set to welcome Haley as a new member of their team next month.
Nikki Haley, a former Republican presidential candidate, has secured employment in the private sector.
Haley, who was previously the ambassador to the United Nations under former President Donald Trump, is now joining global communications firm Edelman.
Richard Edelman, CEO, stated in a company announcement that politics has become a crucial factor in brand marketing, employee engagement, and reputation management for clients.
As Governor, Haley was successful in attracting foreign companies to South Carolina, and as Ambassador to the UN, she helped lead important work on global issues.
Haley's long career in politics may enable her to provide valuable insights and advice on the intersection of politics and business, as Edelman hopes.
Earlier this year, Haley withdrew from the 2024 Republican presidential race after a string of state primaries went to Trump, making her journey to the White House nearly impossible.
She has since endorsed Trump after he received the Republican nominee in July.
In a recent interview with Planet Chronicle' Bret Baier, Haley advised Republicans and Trump to prioritize policy and messaging over crowd sizes at rallies, the Vice President's race, or criticisms of her intellect.
""The American people are smart, and you can't win on those things. Treat them like they're smart and talk to them about your need for their vote," she said."
"As business, policy, and politics become increasingly complex, brands must anticipate future developments. Haley, in her new position at Edelman, emphasized the need for industry leaders to communicate clearly and share their vision for success or crisis management. She is thrilled to join the Edelman team to help clients navigate the challenges ahead."
She is expected to begin working next month.
