Recent polls suggest that Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign is continuing to gain momentum following the Democratic National Convention.
Poll results from Planet Chronicle, Reuters, and USA Today show that Vice President Kamala Harris maintains her lead against Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in the past two days.
On Thursday, a Reuters/Ipsos Poll showed Harris leading Trump by 4 percentage points among registered voters, with 45% support for Harris and 41% for Trump.
Over eight days, a poll concluded on Wednesday, revealing that the increase in support was due to Hispanic and women voters.
The Reuters/Ipsos poll maintained a plus or minus 2% margin of error.
By several points, Trump is being surpassed by Harris, according to a poll conducted by USA Today and Suffolk University, released on Wednesday.
A poll conducted from Aug. 25-28 surveyed 1,000 likely voters via landline and cellphones, revealing that Harris was leading Trump nationwide with 48% to Trump's 43%. The USA Today poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1%.
In four battleground states, a Planet Chronicle Poll released on Wednesday showed that Vice President Kamala Harris had better election numbers than President Biden for the 2024 election, thanks to strong backing from women, Black voters, and young voters.
According to new Planet Chronicle surveys in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, and North Carolina, more voters view Harris as the candidate who can unite the country and will "fight for people like you," despite Trump leading on top issues.
The surveys, comprising of 1,000 registered voters each, were conducted from August 23 to 26, following the Democratic National Convention and after Robert F. Kennedy Jr. withdrew and endorsed Trump.
On Wednesday, surveys were released showing a close two-way race between Harris and Trump in Arizona, Georgia, and Nevada. While Harris leads by 1 percentage point in Arizona and 2 points in Georgia and Nevada, Trump is ahead by 1 point in North Carolina. All results are within the margin of sampling error.
