Kennedy cover-up: Concealing a brain-eating worm and other issues

A doctor expressed his belief that Kennedy harbored a deceased parasite in his head.

Throughout his career, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has made statements that have been controversial, inflammatory, and sometimes untrue, causing dissatisfaction among people on both the left and right.

The senator's son is running an unusual campaign, whether it's predicting higher murder rates in red states or advocating against vaccines.

With his last name suggesting he's a Democrat, he's polling at around 8 to 10%, putting him in serious spoiler territory.

But now it turns out that Kennedy has been hiding serious medical conditions.

The independent candidate's problems were not belatedly disclosed, but rather uncovered through investigative reporting by Susanne Craig of the New York Times.

According to a 2012 deposition, RFK Jr. was examined by a doctor at New York-Presbyterian Hospital after physicians detected a dark spot on his brain scans and he reported experiencing memory loss and mental confusion. The doctor concluded that Kennedy likely had a dead parasite in his head.

According to RFK, the abnormality he experienced was due to a worm that entered his brain, consumed a portion of it, and eventually perished.

Whether a presidential candidate had a portion of his brain consumed by a worm is something I'd like to know.

He claimed to the Times months ago that he had recovered from memory loss without treatment.

The failure to reveal health issues raises concerns about concealing them from the public.

RFK had consulted with some of the same neurologists who had previously treated or spoken to his uncle, Ted Kennedy, who had passed away from brain cancer the previous year.

RFK has been hospitalized four times for atrial fibrillation, a condition he has suffered from for decades. In a recent interview with the Times, he stated that he hasn't experienced an A-fib incident in over 10 years.

Kennedy has also been diagnosed with mercury poisoning, which he blamed on eating too much fish tainted by the metal. This can also lead to serious neurological problems.

No one should interview RFK without discussing his serious medical problems.

Unfortunately, both the Joe Biden and Donald Trump campaigns have refused to release their medical records during this campaign.

The paper suggests that RFK's image of strength may be hiding his true condition, as he is seen skiing with an Olympic gold medalist and lifting weights shirtless.

The spokeswoman for Kennedy, 70, responded to the suggestion that his health issues might make him unfit for office by saying, "That's a hilarious idea, considering the competition - Biden, 81, and Trump, 77."

While some past presidents concealed serious medical issues, such as JFK's Addison's disease or malfunctioning adrenal glands, candidates are now expected to be more transparent about their health.

Because of his divorce from his second wife, we learned about his nephew's issues through a deposition. RFK claimed that his earning capacity had decreased due to cognitive problems.

The question: Is this sort of subterfuge acceptable from a major candidate?

Since being chosen as Kennedy's running mate and a tech entrepreneur to finance the campaign, Nicole Shanahan has not conducted any interviews. Is this the same level of secrecy?
