Kate Middleton receives well wishes from Bidens, DeSantis, and Trump after cancer diagnosis.
Middleton disclosed that she has been undergoing preventative chemotherapy treatment following a planned abdominal surgery.
On Friday, President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden, Ivanka Trump, and Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis sent well wishes to Kate Middleton after she announced her cancer diagnosis via social media.
Biden wrote on X, formerly Twitter, that he and Jill join millions in praying for Princess Kate's full recovery, as he shared the video announcement originally posted by the palace.
"We love you, and you are brave. ~Jill," the First Lady followed on X.
Jill Biden and Middleton visited a UK classroom and participated in activities with school children during a June 2021 trip abroad. The pair also participated in a roundtable with four early childhood experts from the UK.
"If I can overcome cancer, so can you. Believe in yourself, stay resilient, and fight with all your might. We're sending you love and prayers," DeSantis wrote on X, referencing her own cancer battle in 2021. She shared her diagnosis in October 2021 and after months of treatment and chemotherapy, she was declared cancer-free in 2022.
Trump expressed his sadness upon hearing about Princess Kate's diagnosis, stating that her resilience and poise remain a beacon of hope amidst her struggles. He also criticized the speculation surrounding her, emphasizing the need for support and compassion during a challenging time.
"I am thinking of Kate and her family during this difficult time. I wish for her quick and complete recovery and hope to see her continue to inspire and positively impact others. Let us all show our support by respecting her privacy and sending positive thoughts her way."
In 2019, while still in office, former President Donald Trump visited Buckingham Palace with his four children. The visit included a banquet with members of the Royal Family.
The Princess of Wales, 42, announced on Friday afternoon that she has been undergoing preventative chemotherapy treatment after a planned abdominal surgery revealed cancer. She did not provide further details about the cancer's form or extent in her video.
Kate expressed her gratitude in a video recorded on Wednesday, thanking those who sent messages of support and appreciated their understanding during her recovery from surgery.
"Despite the difficulties we've faced in the past few months, I am grateful for the excellent medical care I've received from my team."
"A Kensington Palace spokesperson informed Planet Chronicle Digital that the Princess will resume her official duties once her medical team clears her to do so. She is currently in high spirits and is concentrating on making a full recovery."
Despite her abdominal surgery, the Princess of Wales was later diagnosed with cancer after further testing. Her medical team advised her to undergo chemotherapy.
Middleton proceeded to ask the public for privacy as she continued with treatment.
On Thursday, Planet Chronicle Digital received confirmation from Kensington Palace that Kate had been working remotely while recovering. She was kept informed about the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood's trial of an observation tool for child development.
