During his Planet Chronicle town hall on Wednesday, former President Donald Trump stated that the U.S. will experience an economic depression if Vice President Kamala Harris is elected president on November 5th.
If she becomes president, this country will experience a depression like 1929. Trump stated this at the New Holland Arena in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, saying, "She has no idea what the hell she's doing."
Trump argued that if Harris lets the Trump tax cuts expire, she wants to terminate them, which would result in the biggest tax increase in history. This tax increase, on top of which she wants to add a lot of tax, has never been seen before.
On Wednesday evening, Sean Hannity hosted a town hall with Trump, where they discussed the economy and inflation concerns.
On Wednesday, Harris suggested a 28% tax on long-term capital gains for households with an annual income of $1 million or more, which is less than President Biden's proposed 39.6% rate in his 2025 fiscal year budget.
If unrealized capital gains taxes were implemented, what would be the impact, Hannity asked Trump after the Harris campaign made the announcement.
Trump responded, "She wants to do that. This is where you have something, you don't even know what the value is. I tell you what, if that's going to happen, go out and open an appraisal company because you're going to make a fortune. That's about the only group that's going to make it. And accountants, it is the craziest idea."

If her father is a Marxist teacher of economics, it's hard to believe. But if that were true, it would be just as bad as forgetting about that. If she gets elected, I think we'll experience a depression similar to 1929. That's what I think will happen to our country. They've set us on a path.

Trump dismissed Harris' accusation of "crippling inflation" as "price gouging" and her promise to implement price controls on businesses if elected president.
Price controls have always resulted in no product, massive inflation, and destruction, according to Trump.
