Gov. Walz receives criticism from a former Minnesota resident after their mother passed away due to loneliness during the pandemic.
Gov Tim Walz, a former Minnesota resident, is criticized by a liberal critic for allegedly seeking control over everything.
A former longtime Minnesota resident who left the state due to the governor's policies and her mother's death in a nursing home cautions against electing Tim Walz as the leader of the country.
Cathy, who requested her last name to be excluded, was raised in Minneapolis but relocated to South Dakota in late 2020 due to Gov. Tim Walz's policies on crime and coronavirus, as she disclosed in a recent interview with Planet Chronicle Digital.
Cathy stated that she intentionally departed from Minnesota following the death of her mother due to "loneliness" in a nursing home amid the coronavirus outbreak.
"Cathy shared with Planet Chronicle Digital that if Governor Walz hadn't implemented COVID rules, her brother could have been present during her death. She lamented that her brother couldn't be there for her, as their tyranny prevented her from being surrounded by her loved ones during her final moments. Cathy emphasized that her sister died of loneliness due to the prolonged isolation inflicted by the rules."
Cathy explained how Minnesota's state policies negatively impacted her mother's nursing home, stating that at one point she could only visit her mother through her window. Eventually, a one-person visit per day policy was implemented, but it still restricted family visits.
Cathy visited her mother on the morning that she passed away.
"I gave her a kiss on the forehead before I left, but she passed away while I was undergoing chemo that day," she said. "It's hard to fathom the loneliness my mother must have felt as she was dying."
The rampant crime in Minneapolis has negatively impacted the city, according to Cathy.
"Minneapolis is no longer safe. Our son lives just four blocks from the border, and we hear gunshots at night. The crime rate is concerning, and it seems like no one is taking action to improve the situation, especially Tim Walz."
Cathy, who has lived under Walz's leadership, stated that the prospect of a Harris-Walz administration "terrifies" her.
"Tim Walz is not the liberal he claims to be. He advocates for high taxes, government control, and allowing kids to have sex-change operations without parental consent. He has a sanctuary state policy that lets in illegal immigrants and protects them. If he were to become president and vice president, the consequences for our country could be disastrous."
"Cathy informed Fox that the individual is not a typical conservative from southern Minnesota, but rather a radical liberal from the same region. It is not desirable for the country to have this person."
Lisa Hanson, a former wine and coffee bistro owner who was jailed for violating Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz's lockdown orders, warned Americans against supporting Walz's vice presidential bid, stating that Walz's actions effectively "shut down and destroyed" her small business and demonstrated the dangers of tyranny.
"Hanson stated that the individual shut down many small businesses, which were simply trying to survive and offer excellent products and services, while allowing large corporations to remain operational. This was an astonishing abuse of power against the community."
In 2020, Walz faced criticism for establishing a COVID-19 hotline that enabled Minnesota residents to report neighbors suspected of violating lockdown rules.
