Biden accepts Trump's challenge for a second presidential debate, with a condition.
Biden was given an opportunity by Trump to improve his poorly received debate performance.
On Thursday, President Trump invited President Biden to another debate, without moderators.
In a Truth Social post, Trump requested a "no holds barred" and "all on" discussion with Biden about the future of the country.
What are the reasons behind Joe's desire for open borders, allowing millions of people and violent criminals from unknown regions to enter our country, or his support for men playing in women's sports, or his demand for all electric vehicles within five years, or his role in allowing inflation to run rampant and destroy our country's people?
"The debate would be a test for both of us, and would prove his competence or lack thereof. It would be a great evening, just the two of us, one on one, in a good, old fashioned Debate, the way they used to be. ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ANYPLACE!!"
A representative from President Biden's campaign team did not promptly respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's inquiry for a comment.
Trump's desire to face Biden in the 2024 presidential race is unsurprising, given that Biden is widely viewed as having lost their initial matchup.
The 81-year-old incumbent's stumbling answers during the CNN Presidential Debate in Atlanta have caused panic among Democrats and prompted calls from pundits, editorial writers, and some party donors for Biden to step aside in favor of a younger, more able standard-bearer.
Biden has remained steadfast in his refusal to vacate the presidency, declaring during a Fourth of July White House celebration, "I'm not going anywhere."
Jeff Zients, the White House Chief of Staff, reportedly held an all-staff meeting on Wednesday to encourage his team to ignore distractions and concentrate on their job of governing.
Despite the challenges faced by the Biden administration since the Atlanta matchup with Trump, Zients emphasized to White House aides the importance of highlighting the accomplishments and track record of the Democratic administration. He stressed that governing will become even more crucial once the campaign season heats up, particularly after the Fourth of July holiday.
The second debate between Biden and Trump is set to take place on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 9 p.m. ET on ABC News. The network has not yet revealed the moderators for the event.
