At the state fair booth, Walz, the skilled shapeshifter, receives a direct message from Minnesota voters.
Gov. Walz was criticized as a "thin-skinned, power-drunk tyrant" by former Minnesota state Rep. Erik Mortensen.
The Minnesota State Fair is currently happening, and people are lined up outside a booth that opposes Governor Tim Walz to win "Never Walz" prizes after he was named the second-in-command on the 2024 Democratic presidential ticket.
A massive sign at a state fair booth reads "Never Walz," drawing long lines of people seeking "Never Walz" fans and T-shirts, according to Planet Chronicle Digital.
The booth was set up by conservative nonprofit Action 4 Liberty MN, which offered attendees of the nation's second-largest state fair the chance to win "Never Walz" signage and apparel by spinning a wheel.
On Tuesday, Erik Mortensen, the leader of Action 4 Liberty and a former Republican Minnesota state representative, spoke to Planet Chronicle Digital about the organization's mission to promote liberty by exposing RINOs and Leftists who betray it. He also discussed the group's efforts to mobilize its grassroots army of supporters and train them on how to use their individual political power effectively.
The Minnesota State Fair, which commenced on Saturday and will continue until Labor Day weekend, is expected to draw in 2 million visitors. The "Never Walz" booth is a popular attraction on the fairgrounds, with Mortensen stating that despite not selling renowned fair cuisine, "our queues have been longer than most of the food stands."
Currently serving his second term as governor of Minnesota, Walz previously represented the state in Congress from 2007-2019.
Mortensen, a former Minnesota House of Representatives member who served from 2021 to last year, is part of Action 4 Liberty's leadership team and stated that the grassroots group has consistently highlighted how Walz has harmed the state.
For years, Action 4 Liberty has been leading the charge in Minnesota to expose Governor Walz's lust for power. In 2021, our state fair booth was themed "Never Again," referring to Walz's unconstitutional lockdowns, mask mandates, and vaccine mandates. The booth was used to promote my "Never Again" bill, which aimed to strip the governor of the power to unilaterally declare an emergency and proclaim himself the "King of Minnesota." As Mortensen explained when asked about the motivation and history behind the booth, "We Minnesotans know Walz best. He may present himself as a folksy Midwesterner, but he's a thin-skinned, power-hungry tyrant who has destroyed our state and repeatedly violated our liberties."
Social media videos depict throngs of people queuing up to spin the "Never Walz" wheel, with Mortensen reporting that attendees' reactions to the booth have been "overwhelming."
"We have been repeatedly asked by state fair representatives and police officers to move our line closer to the curb while driving the state fair," he stated.
"Many individuals in the queue have been searching for our stand throughout the day, we are frequently informed."
Earlier this month, Kamala Harris named Walz as her running mate, moving him to the second spot on the Democratic Party's presidential ticket. This came after President Biden stepped down from the race due to concerns about his mental abilities and age.
Last week in Chicago, Walz officially accepted the nomination to run alongside Harris at the DNC and used his Midwestern, veteran, and teaching background to rally support at the convention.
In a small town like that, you learn to take care of one another. Although the family down the road may not share the same beliefs, they are still your neighbors. You look out for them, and they look out for you. Everyone belongs, and everyone has a responsibility to contribute.
"Serving in the Army National Guard was a defining experience for me. I enlisted just two days after my 17th birthday and wore our nation's uniform for 24 years. Tragically, my dad, a Korean War-era Army veteran, passed away from lung cancer a few years later. He left behind a significant amount of medical debt. Thankfully, Social Security survivor benefits provided some financial relief."
Mortensen criticized Walz's leadership in Minnesota, calling him a "skilled chameleon" who "transforms into any image he believes will boost his political standing."
Walz has enacted legislation that takes away parents' rights to make decisions about their minor children's sex change surgeries. Walz signed the most extreme abortion bill into law, which has no restrictions on abortion. As a result, 13-year-old girls in Minnesota can now receive taxpayer-funded, late-term abortions without informing their parents, according to Mortensen.
Walz, if elected, rules with an iron fist and seeks to destroy liberties all with a goofy smile on his face, according to Mortensen.
Gov. Walz is a dictatorial tyrant who has an insatiable appetite for power. He has made a living amassing that power by being a shapeshifting politician who creates a character he believes will successfully pull the wool over the eyes of voters just long enough to get elected.
The Harris-Walz campaign did not respond to Planet Chronicle Digital's request for comment on the booth and Mortensen's comments.
