Alina Habba, a senior adviser to former President Donald Trump, is campaigning in Michigan to win over Arab voters.
Habba, an attorney on Trump's legal team, is a first-generation American with parents from Iraq.
Since Thursday, Habba has been attending events and meetings in Arab American communities across Michigan, including those with Indian Americans and Chaldean Americans.
""Being part of the tight-knit and faith-driven Arab American communities in Michigan fills me with pride, as someone who understands the struggles and persecution we left behind in our countries of origin to find the freedom we now cherish," Habba said to Planet Chronicle Digital."
It is crucial to speak up to safeguard freedom in the United States, as stated by Habba to Planet Chronicle Digital.
"Habba stated that our country must not follow the same perilous course, and the only way to protect our beliefs and traditions is through the election of Donald Trump."
An estimated 187,000 Iraqis reside in Metro Detroit, making it the global hub with the largest population of Iraqis outside of Iraq.
On Friday, Habba visited the Chaldean Foundation and the community, interacted with children at a local school, and engaged with community leaders.
"Habba stated to Planet Chronicle Digital that the Chaldean community is motivated by its faith and strong family bonds. He added that Trump's policies appeal to them and are particularly resonant with independents, moderates, and traditional Republicans, particularly in battleground states like Michigan."
On Friday, Habba is attending a "Trump 47 Agenda Policy Tour" event with Vivek Ramaswamy, Rep. Tim Walberg, Tudor Dixon and others in Farmington Hills, Mich.
"The Trump 47 Policy Tour is yielding positive outcomes in Oakland County, as stated by Habba. The Chaldean community, with its 10 Catholic churches in Metro-Detroit, is a powerful, faith-based community that supports President Trump."
The latest Planet Chronicle Power Rankings classify key swing states such as North Carolina, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Nevada as "toss-ups."
Michigan, though, is listed as "lean Democrat."
