A pro-Trump group has launched a $500,000 ad campaign attacking Vice President Kamala Harris' handling of the border crisis before her Democratic nomination acceptance speech on Thursday.
A one-minute ad by the conservative nonprofit Building America's Future will be shown on digital platforms in key battleground states, including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, prior to Harris's speech at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
"Three years ago, Vice President Kamala Harris was tasked with managing the border crisis. Did she rise to the occasion?" the narrator queries.
The ad highlights an infamous exchange Harris had with a reporter in 2021, where she chuckled and said "Not today" when asked about visiting the border.
The ad accuses the VP of being responsible for the tragic murders of Jocelyn Nungaray, Laken Riley and Joselyn Toaquiza, as he is the so-called border czar.
Instead of requesting a promotion, Kamala Harris should first address individuals by their names.
The "#SayTheirNames" campaign will also display gravestones of victims murdered by illegal immigrants during the Biden-Harris administration at Harris campaign events in swing states on mobile billboards and 2D projections.
Planet Chronicle Digital's request for comment from the Harris campaign was not immediately responded to.
The "border czar" label given to Vice President Kamala Harris by the media and her critics is viewed as one of her biggest vulnerabilities ahead of the November election.
