Young voter disillusioned with Harris' pandering: Abortion appears to be the sole issue that matters to me.

In the lead-up to Election Day, Vice President Harris and former President Trump are making a concerted effort to win over a crucial demographic - young Americans.

Kamala Harris was criticized by a Gen Z conservative influencer for being seen as pandering to young women.

"On "The Faulkner Focus," influencer Isabel Brown stated that she is a young woman who is frequently pampered on the campaign trail. According to Kamala Harris, the only thing she is permitted to focus on is a woman's supposed constitutional right to an abortion."

Brown stated that there is a "clear disconnect between the culture of America today and the economic issues, and we need a new generation of leadership in Washington with fresh perspectives and new ideas. However, this is not happening under the Kamala Harris regime."

In the final stages of the 2024 race, the sitting vice president has shifted her strategy to focus on a media blitz while still struggling to address tough questions on her tenure in office and policy plans.

Content creator Link Lauren expressed his concern that Kamala Harris is not addressing the issue of affordability for everyday Americans, despite the attention she has received for her vibes and coconut memes. He believes that the forgotten men and women in the country feel left behind by the political elites.

Brown added that it's surprising that Usher, Lizzo, and Eminem don't appear to be promoting the Democratic Party.

As Election Day approaches, the economy and the southern border are the top-of-mind concerns for the panel of young voters.

Every time I go to a grocery store or fill up a gas tank, I am reminded of why I should vote for President Trump, as this is a concern shared by every voter under this administration, according to RNC youth advisory council co-chair CJ Pearson.

Reed Cleland, a legislator from Cortland County, N.Y., argued against another Trump presidency during the panel. He stated that the country cannot afford it and pointed to Trump's tax cuts and foreign policy decisions as evidence. In contrast, he praised Harris's agenda for working people.

Elections at all levels are important because local officials make decisions that impact people's daily lives. There are races happening across the board.

A recent NYT/Siena poll shows that 25% of young voters consider the economy as the most pressing issue in the country, while 19% say abortion is the second-biggest concern. Other significant issues include inflation, the cost of living, immigration, and the character and competence of the candidates.

Lauren contended that millions of young people are disillusioned and disenfranchised with the entire political process.

"The young people feel that the adults they elected to lead by example are the ones who have accumulated $35 trillion of debt, resulting in an immigration crisis, wars, a housing crisis, and a chronic disease crisis. However, they also see millions of young people looking at Donald Trump for the first time and considering him a change agent in this election. On the other hand, Kamala Harris represents politics as usual."
