Theo Von attends Trump's 'inspiring' inauguration, declares it's 'time to put America first' - Rewritten: Theo Von, inspired by Trump's inauguration, declares it's time to prioritize America first.
During the campaign, Trump was a guest on a popular comedian's podcast.
Theo Von, a well-known podcast host and comedian, expressed his excitement about the President Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday, stating that he felt fortunate to have been present.
Von, who was present at an exclusive viewing of Trump's swearing-in ceremony in the U.S. Capitol Building alongside other prominent influencers and business leaders, expressed to Planet Chronicle Digital that being there made him realize how much he values being in a free country.
He expressed his gratitude for witnessing the inauguration, stating that it was inspiring and made him feel blessed to be alive in a country with voting rights.
Theo Von landed a major podcast interview in 2024, hosting then-GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump on the Aug. 20 episode of "This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von." The comedian's podcast is currently the third-most popular on Spotify.
Trump's electoral victory was attributed to influential cultural figures and podcast hosts, including Von and Joe Rogan, who was also a special guest at the Inauguration.
The comedian praised members of the First and Second Families in his statement to Fox about the inauguration ceremony.
He commented on the historical importance of Usha Vance being the "FIRST Indian American Second Lady," stating it was "amazing to witness."
"Von was heartbroken that he didn't get to meet Barron Trump, the president's youngest son. He also admired the first lady, Melania Trump, saying, "Melania looked beautiful.""
Fox was informed by Von that he identifies as "pretty centrist," yet found common ground with a key message from Trump's inaugural address.
The comedian remarked, "Putting America first," echoing Trump's pledge to prioritize the country in his daily actions as president.
The comedian mentioned that he hoped Trump would address the relief of Palestinians affected by the conflict between Israel and Hamas in Gaza during his second term.
"I wonder if Trump intends to aid in the reconstruction of Palestine following the genocide, and I hope we can assist those affected," he stated.
He also wanted to see "health care price transparency" in the future, said Von.
On Tuesday, the comedian's remarks about former President Biden's exit from office went viral on X. Von expressed sympathy for the elderly ex-president and criticized his handlers.
"I hope Joe Biden has a peaceful and restful morning, and that he gets the relaxation and health he needs. It's clear to me that he's been being manipulated by someone who doesn't have his best interests at heart. This is cruel and heartbreaking."
He stated, "If anyone ever did that to my father or grandfather, I'd beat the living daylights out of them. I hope the world knows that most Americans are better than that and do not treat seniors that way. However, we were powerless to stop it."
When questioned about the X post, Von stated to Fox, "It wasn't a political matter. I'm a centrist. I never encountered Biden. I'm unaware of his character."
"I believe it was more about human emotions. I'm glad he can now live a more peaceful life."
