Tom Homan, border czar, sends message to far-left officials: "Game on"
ICE has commenced mass deportation operations, as stated by Tom Homan on 'Fox & Friends'.
Tom Homan, the border czar, issued a warning to blue cities and states resisting Trump's mass deportations, telling far-left officials who want to hinder the efforts, "it's on."
Lawrence Jones was informed by Homan during "Fox & Friends" on Wednesday that their goal was to enhance public safety in the community.
"We need your help because you've forced us to work together in the community. Here's what's going to happen. We'll find the bad guy, but when we do, he'll be with others who may not be a criminal priority. However, if they're in the United States illegally, they'll be arrested too."
"Sanctuary cities will receive what they do not desire, an increase in agents in their communities, more arrests, and more collateral arrests. Is this the game they wish to play? Let's play on," he stated.
Kris Mayes, Arizona's Attorney General, is among a group of far-left officials who have opposed the Trump administration's efforts to decrease the number of illegal immigrants.
Previously, she stated that any federal efforts to deport Dreamers, recipients of the Obama-era DACA program, would be a "bright red line" for her.
She stated on Tuesday that she would not participate in or support the establishment of what she believes are essentially concentration and family separation camps in Arizona.
Homan called her remarks "insulting" and a misrepresentation of the truth.
"Lawrence responded by stating that their focus would be on public safety from the beginning. He then questioned whether the speaker meant that they didn't want any threats to public safety in the community. Additionally, he expressed offense at the use of the term "concentration camps" and asked if the speaker was serious."
"Yesterday in Vermont, a Border Patrol agent was shot and killed, and they're being compared to the Gestapo? Are you kidding me? Concentration camps? ICE has detention centers. They have the best standards in the entire industry. In fact, I'll compare ICE detention standards to any state or federal facility or any county facility in the world. We have the highest detention standards, so that's an insult, and it's a lie."
In the past 24 hours, there were 766 apprehensions at the southern border, which is significantly lower than the thousands of individuals that were apprehended daily under the Biden administration. Additionally, CBP agents did not release anyone during this time.
The border czar called the stark pivot a "game-changer."
"ICE arrested over 308 serious criminals in the last 24 hours, including murderers, rapists, and those who raped a child, Homan said, emphasizing the agency's focus on public safety and national security threats."
""ICE is doing their job and prioritizing, as the president said they would, and they are performing excellently in the field," he continued."
The new administration has commenced its crackdown on illegal immigration, with mass deportations beginning on Tuesday, as confirmed by Homan. The mission is crucial for ensuring public safety and national security.
"Securing the border will save lives by reducing sex trafficking and preventing aliens from dying during their journey. President Trump's border lockdown would have a positive impact on this issue, while President Biden's policies have resulted in a record number of deaths and a 600% increase in sex trafficking."
"President Trump is a game-changer who has already made a significant difference on the border, ensuring strong national security by knowing who, what, where, and why is coming in."
