Young male voters are a significant factor in the party's losses, according to Fetterman.
Fetterman expresses concern over the "significant decline" in male support for the Democratic Party.
During an appearance on "The View" on Thursday, Democratic Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania intensified his criticism of his party regarding their 2024 election losses, particularly among men.
"Fetterman was questioned by "The View" co-hosts regarding his previous remarks about Democrats losing male voters to President-elect Trump due to being "condescending" and "insulting.""
"The situation forces men to choose whether they can remain Democrats," he said. "The tone in such situations is undeniable. I have witnessed it over the last eight years, and now, whether it's 'bros' or the 'manosphere,' it's clear that these terms are negative."
"If you blame them, make them feel like they're part of the problem, or act like it's all your fault, they'll find an alternative. That's what they've done."
It is "undeniable" that Democrats have lost ground with men, according to Fetterman.
"Without a long-term strategy to reengage them, it's unlikely we can bring back what's been lost due to serious erosion, as he stated," he said.
Last month, the New York Times reported that Fetterman stated that the party's disdainful attitude towards male voters had driven away a significant group of voters.
In 2016, I observed a different energy among steel workers during an event I was involved in, which was located near my home. It was evident that people were voting for Trump. The Democrats responded with the statement, "Aren't they smart enough to realize they're voting against their interests?" This statement was insulting and not helpful. It was condescending and only reinforced the stereotype.
He stated, "Saying 'I know better than you,' is not productive."
Trump's win has caused outrage among Democrats, but his party member advised them to stop their pearl-clutching and treat the situation as "candy" for Trump.
"Democrats are losing their minds every 15 minutes, even before Thanksgiving. We need to pace ourselves or, for f---'s sake, just grab a grip," he said.
