Why should we not use our leverage if Europe does the same? What's the point of having countries if they don't prioritize their own people?
The point of Trump and others who share his views has always been that countries with their hands out enjoy having a weak American president like Biden in office. Today, listening to Biden, it sounded more like "Angola first." Countries with their hands out were positively giddy in 2020.
